Nailed on where though.

Good grief.

Delighted to see Aarnio fixed up for next season, not sure if it will happen but if he starts at reserve for the Diamonds, as he was last season, he could be one of the strongest reserves in the PL.
-
I was only talking about one though, still never mind I didn't know you were counting, that`ll be 16261 then .

Can post 518 be given a tiny bit of credit please.

Good to see Cook looking to further his career, I hope it works for him, racing in leagues abroad plus getting into SGP Qualifiers should help in that direction. His decision to move on from Edinburgh might actually help the Edinburgh promotion in putting next years team together as it frees up quite a number of points.

Agree with you regarding Carr, though you can use the same argument for Carr as you are for Ruddick, namely he will be racing NL riders in his heats. I just think its to much of a jump for Ruddick, as even in his races he will be racing NL heat leaders and No1`s, something he isn't just yet.
-
Wouldn't that be to much of a jump though, Ruddick was in the reserve position at Mildenhall last season and only moved up into the team when they signed Stefan Farnaby, so to go from a reserve in the NL to reserve in the PL would be asking to much of him. Much better IMO to have another year in the NL, win some races, build on confidence and experience, and if the BSPA haven't binned this No7 draft idea for 2017 Berwick could have another look then. Carr, as an asset, would be a much better option, though as has been mentioned Liam is coming in for some interest from other clubs.

Don't think you`ll be to far away with your team, the No6 gap could quite easily be filled by Matt Wethers.

2016 Sgp Swc Calendar & Info's
screm replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
See you in Prague cuz, I am also looking to do another GP but haven't decided yet. -

Pijper will make a consistent and reliable signing no matter who he signs for be it Berwick or somebody else, but Berwick would need to look elsewhere IMO if he continues in the Longtrack GP`s and Longtrack meetings in general, to many missed meetings with the prospect of running with NL guests at some meetings.
-
IMO Kildemand thoroughly deserves a wild card pick for next season, he has narrowly missed out on a top eight place with less GP`s than any other rider.
-
Agree with you, probably not the done thing but I dont mind the riders having a bit of a punch up now and then but no way should mechanics be getting involved. Maybe to many people in the GP pits, Monster Joe for one, why does he need to be in there.
-
Rubbish, the best rider on the night won it. Hancock is still one of the top riders in the World.

What rider isn't rumoured to be talking to Glasgow.
-
Agree, especially giving his experience in the PL. Obviously Berwick must be looking at him, but as you say there will be others.
-
Now that all clubs have to have a 3pt rider at number seven, a strong number six is as important as an out and out number one for next season, to their credit Berwick might have already covered that if Mellgren starts in the number six position.
-
I agree with you, but you also highlight the problem with signing Alden, top rider when he`s in the mood. Added to that is the fact Alden hasn't done any regular racing last season which IMO makes his signing a bit of a gamble.

Individual Manipulation Of Averages
screm replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It does, though it could also be argued that any club that have a rider that is obviously dropping his average and keep him in the team, deserve all they get. -
Individual Manipulation Of Averages
screm replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Average manipulation has gone on for years, these rolling averages may not be perfect but at least they mean it takes longer to get your average down. -
A bit of a punch up between riders is one thing, but no way should mechanics be getting involved, maybe there is to many people in each riders pit bay. That said I still think Sam Masters behaviour with Pedersen was out of order, IMO if Masters really wants to be in SGP he needs to get used to the kind of racing he experienced yesterday.

27000 for a speedway meeting is a success in anyone's book, and with sensible ticket pricing, sensible hotel prices it could be more. Cardiff please take note.
