In signing Kasprazak I see problems ahead for the Bees.

2016 Swc Semi's And Final 29/30/july 2016
screm replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I agree, it was debated earlier about how much practice the Team GB boys would get on the new track in Manchester, Nicholls and Craig Cook for that matter could be trump cards come the SWC Final giving the amount of laps they will do with Belle Vue. -
A bit like your NKI has signed for Kings Lynn post, looks like your Peterborough`s answer to COL24 on the Berwick threads, someone to be largely ignored.
-
I think it probably would be, but our local font of knowledge seems to have over looked that fact.

Maybe a change at the top of the BSPA will see a change that sees Nicholls return, or at least wanting to return, to ride for Team GB, and at his home track to. -
And maybe not, I know its one of the things on Buster Chapman`s to do list while he`s Chairman of the BSPA but I don't see it happening in time for 2016.
-
Indeed they would, only fly in that particular ointment is that Newcastle use Mondays as their rain off day, or sometimes when they are racing Glasgow, though I think this season they ran both meetings on the same day so problem solved.

Season just gone it was Mondays.

Confirmed Elite League Signings 2016

And the winner of the wide of the mark post goes to....................... No NKI for KL.
-
Glasgow look very top heavy to me, three great heat leaders who will be capable of winning a meeting on their own, but if one or more of them have an off night the Tigers might be in a bit of bother. Still three signings to go of course, but not many points to play with, hopefully for the Tigers their promotion will pull a rabbit out of the hat somewhere.
-
How about Bellego and Berge, young Berge would certainly love the big track and I think he has the talent. Things went wrong for him at Glasgow, for whatever reason, but he has shown he has what it takes to be a decent scorer at PL level.
-
Stead has suffered enough to span two careers never mind one, I hope no matter what his scores are he has an injury free 2016.

Well that's it then, he`s a cert signing.

But you could say just the same about the EL, I don't think there is any problem with having good riders from the continent riding in our leagues but some promotions seem happy to give second rate foreign riders places in their teams when IMO they should be trying to bring through their own talent, yes it takes longer but if you help bring through a GB rider that has to benefit everyone. I like the idea of having a Brit rider at No7, infact I would've gone further, for example I would've like to have seen any foreign rider signed on an assessed average keep that average until such time they get over that mark but the depth of numbers and quality in our junior ranks isn't there right now to have two NL riders at reserve but I applaud the BSPA for at least trying to bring through riders.

Not...Mr Barrie doesn't use this forum, and describes many of its users as Fannies, something he has he has told us many times via his programme column.
-
Do PL clubs have to stick to one 3pt rider, can they sign two and job share.
-
Very grateful to those who have stumped up the investment that sees Berwick stay on track, I hope we never find the club in such trouble again, but the some ways there is still hard work ahead in terms of bringing more people through the gate on a regular bases. There were some suggestions on here worth considering, I hope they will be at least looked at. Wouldn't know what deal was good enough to see Jorgensen sign on again, nor that of any other rider, but I am grateful he has and will have the kind of impact he had in 2016 that he had in 2015.

Some people think your in the know. Should those people be loose in our community.
-
Clearly not, I think we are due some sort of explanation for such crazy claims.
-
Ah, so we`re back to posters posting for a bit of sport, and I wonder who the fannies are.
-
Exactly, I think broadly speaking most of us have giving the team for next season the thumbs up, we have welcomed the appointment of a former rider as team manager, and most importantly welcomed that fact we actually have a team to support, doesn't and shouldn't stop debate, argument and conversation.
-
Your not happy when there`s fallouts and criticisms on these threads, now your not happy there some agreement and harmony here just now.
-
Correct I `m not saying that, bit surprised you read that into my post, but there you. I merely see Alden as a gamble, but if you don't take the gamble you don't see the benefits, I hope he is a success. You would rather have Bellego than Pijper, that's your opinion, and your entitled to it, as I am to mine.
