  1. Exactly, I think broadly speaking most of us have giving the team for next season the thumbs up, we have welcomed the appointment of a former rider as team manager, and most importantly welcomed that fact we actually have a team to support, doesn't and shouldn't stop debate, argument and conversation.
  2. Your not happy when there`s fallouts and criticisms on these threads, now your not happy there some agreement and harmony here just now.
  3. Correct I `m not saying that, bit surprised you read that into my post, but there you. I merely see Alden as a gamble, but if you don't take the gamble you don't see the benefits, I hope he is a success. You would rather have Bellego than Pijper, that's your opinion, and your entitled to it, as I am to mine.

  5. The Berwick team may not leap off the page, most fans wanted to go strength in depth, and they have. Wethers should be a potent reserve, much like Jensen and then Kus was a couple of seasons ago, he should be putting pressure on someone in the top five. I also think Liam Carr will benefit from the new ruling regarding No7`s and at the minute I dont see a better No7 out there. The only rider I have my doubts about is Alden, he has the capabilities to be brilliant one week and anonymous the next, and not racing on a regular bases could also be a problem, but he is an asset, and knows the club and promotion well, I hope he comes good.
  6. Not really, Berwick will soon announce their last three signings, those wont include Fisher, so he will be free to sign for Edinburgh or anyone else.
  7. Interested maybe, signing no as an announcement quite soon will reveal.
  8. Make time. I am sure I will find time to squeeze in a couple while there.
  9. Just booked my hotel for the Friday and Saturday night, please BSI, Belle Vue Speedway, or whoever decides these things, be sensible with ticket prices, you will get a full stadium so no need to screw the good paying public.
  10. Post 279 clarifies that matter though doesn't it, cant see the point your trying to make.
  11. But Pepe`s nailed on, somebodies going to be looking a tad foolish this time on Sunday if he`s not announced. I agree with your final three predictions.
  12. Thought it was always better to have the race off on a Thursday, at least it gives a spare day in case of a rain off, if that happens in Manchester there`s a good chance that will move the Final to the Sunday, causing chaos to those fans booking hotels, but its Manchester so the chances of rain are very low.
  13. Sunday evening I think, though I am sure it will be confirmed by a higher force than I. I expect one rider to be nailed on.
  14. Boo Boo and Barley are signing for Glasgow, isnt everyone, Mcgrew and Cuthbert will need visas before signing, Grub has signed and is on £120 per point according to some on here, and Officer Dibble is needed by Top Cat after a spate of cat burglaries.
  15. So that`ll be Berwick visiting Owlerton Thursday July 28th, it in the diary.
  16. Yes I heard that to, Saturday April 1st is the date.
  17. Not always being guaranteed regular meetings seems to be the reason for turning down Poland, their loss is the Diamonds gain. http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100475
  18. And unless they have changed the rules Team GB are in the Final.
  19. Lakesidelive ‏@Lakesidelive 4m4 minutes ago Congratulations @theaces on being awarded the 2016 Speedway World Cup Race Off & Final! So the Race-off changes from a Thursday to a Friday, might give the team winning the race off meeting a bit of an advantage for the Final just 24hrs later.
  20. Bjerre back at Tarnow. http://speedwaygp.com/news/article/4584/bjerre-sticks-with-swallows
  21. I think we can all pull figures out of thin air to suit our arguments, I have no knowledge of what Lambert is on at Newcastle, nor I suspect does anyone else on here outside Lambert and the promotion.
  22. Robert Lambert signs for Newcastle. http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/home.asp
  23. Quite a signing. Newcastle Speedway ‏@diamondspeedway 37s37 seconds ago BREAKING: ROB LAMBERT SIGNS FOR NEWCASTLE. full story at http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100474 … #diamonds #speedway
