What a pile of reindeer droppings, Nicki Pedersen has made a career in being a multi World Champion both individual and team, and being a top rider in his leagues over Europe.
Whilst I agree that SCB is an articulate, intelligent and popular member of this forum, he isn't and shouldn't be above the same rules as the rest of us. I hope he is back posting very soon, with lessons learned, IMO this forum is a poorer place for SCB not being here.
Reading some of Gary`s tweets and his wife's posts on Facebook, its clear he has been through a very tough time of late. Hopefully he will be leaving hospital today and start his recovery.
With last years team sponsor now part of the new consortium, maybe Berwick are on the look out for a new main sponsor. Hopefully we will get some good news on on that front.
Only time will tell on Allen, Berwick have Matt Wethers starting out at reserve so should be strong in the area. I am sure the promotion would've been well aware that Allen would come in on a 5pt average, and after doing so much hard work with the rider this time last year you would think Allen would come under consideration for a team place for 2016.
While I agree with you, surely Berwick had ample opportunity to get rid of a rider where it was clear as to what he was up to, instead they left him in the team week after week to continue see his average fall to such a level that Newport took him off our hands.
The reception he received that night, or introduction on parade at least, was unnecessary and unprofessional, but surely everyone has moved on since then.
No doubting that Gjedde has been a class act racing over here, but IMO its about the here and now for the rider, and for his club. As Spin King has pointed out his recent record isn't one to inspire confidence, hopefully for him and Plymouth Gjedde can recapture former glories, I have my doubts.
