  1. As I posted earlier I cant buy its just because of a iffy weather forecast, something the Kings Lynn track will face virtually on a weekly bases, had there been weather warnings, fair enough but to the best of my knowledge there hasn't been leaving me to believe there is more to this than certain people are letting on.
  2. Impressive from Glasgow, though as this was Edinburgh`s first meeting as a team a home win was always on the cards, that and Glasgow are a better team.
  3. That would cause all kinds of fun and games over on the multi username Berwick threads.
  4. As you say there were positives for Redcar to, with Jonas B Anderson being the first of them, very impressed by him last night.
  5. The track guys at Kings Lynn lead by Buster are renowned to up there with the best in the business, so an iffy forecast wouldn't or shouldn't be anything they haven't faced before to make them call off a meeting so early. IMO there`s more to this than meets the eye, but it being speedway, and not exactly run in a professional manner at times, why should we be surprised at the goings on over the last twenty four hours.
  6. In the PR stakes this isn't a great start to the 2016 season.
  7. As many on here predicted, Leicester looked weak from the get go, so their scores and performances shouldn't come as any surprise. Changes now are a must if their season is over before it really starts but I take it Leicester will be in the same boat as Coventry, another side threatening changes, where they have to wait until May 1st to make any change.
  8. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2645456 This is tomorrows forecast according to the BBC, would Sky really postpone a meeting just on this forecast alone, or is their more to this than we know.
  9. Decent meeting to start the season with, with lots of positives on and off the track, the biggest being a very healthy crowd which on not the nicest night weather wise is credit to the promotion with their posters and other offers in the last few weeks. Berwick comfortably saw off Redcar to claim the Tweed/Teed Trophy, obviously there will be tougher challengers to come but Berwick ticked all the boxes last night.
  10. It may be blind faith at times but yes I have faith. Looking forward to seeing bikes on track, full stands and good racing. Berwick have points to make up if they are to win the Tees/Tweed Trophy, I am confident they can do that.

  12. Shouldn't you give full accreditation to where this information comes from.
  13. The odd drop of rain but as yet nothing to worry about, anyway the track has been covered so I am confident there will be racing tonight. Well done to all at Berwick Speedway. https://www.facebook.com/BerwickSpeedway/photos/a.146513605530987.1073741829.145038505678497/532746056907738/?type=1&theater Photo taken from the clubs Facebook page, why doesn't every club look after its customers as Berwick do.
  14. Cheers, I should`ve added apart from page 35 which is the low point and best avoided.
  15. If you look back on this thread there is details where you can still get a copy, I would its an excellent read.
  16. With a bit of luck Berwick should get their season under way tonight, weather forecast has improved over the last few days to be optimistic we will actually see some racing. There will be some rain around at times during the day, right now its dull but dry. Never let the facts get in the way of a silly post, Berwick didn't cancel the meeting with Workington, it was the promotions of Berwick, Redcar, Workington and Scunthorpe working together, a rarity in speedway I know, to find a solution that suited all and credit to them for doing so. Don`t worry Workington will get to taste the delights of Shielfield later in the season, all good thing come to those who wait.
  17. http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3509 Looks like Coventry are looking at changes but by May 1st their season could be all but over.
  18. Wonderful news that speedway will continue at Plymouth this season and hopefully for many more seasons to come.
  19. On the one hand I think Tai should be at the British Final, infact IMO he should be racing in our EL, but he isn't. He doesn't base himself here for his racing, doesn't have an EL club, so I can quite understand his decision not to take a place in this years Final.
  20. Or C Someone without regular income is less likely to be a regular attender each Saturday at Shielfield, so the quicker Colin gets a job, and then gets a bit of spare cash the better as it will help the club fanatically. Hope everything works out very soon. Hang on hang on, multiple usernames or people with the use of more than one account on a Berwick thread.......never.
