  1. According to preliminary information, the player does not remember what happened on the track in England - he had a concussion. In addition, X-ray showed a shoulder injury and a fracture of one of the bones of the shoulder (collarbone or shoulder). At the moment, you can predict three or four weeks off starts. On Thursday afternoon should receive detailed information from the clinic, which on Thursday will be Rory Schlein taken. Recall that the accident, which suffered Schlein took place in the fourteenth race game Kings Lynn Stars Coventry Bees. Australian collided with Casper Woryną. This is translated from a Polish site.
  2. Berwick`s stronger lower order will see them through in this meeting, though Masters, Wolbert and inparticular Fisher should make this an entertaining enough meeting.
  3. As with most Glasgow away meetings this season, if their top four fire that will go along way to winning the meeting for them. As for this one all signs point to a second home defeat on the spin for the Monarchs.
  4. There`s a lot of things that might change between now and June 3rd, though sometimes its best not listen to rumours.
  5. I am sure you should getting giving longer odds than that for Coventry, but we will see.
  6. Difficult to quantify this post, other than showing complete arrogance.
  7. Do you have the same "in-call" charge as you do for "out-calls".
  8. I`m sure Berwick at least was very happy towards the end of last season that Fisher`s average was such that they could call on his services more than once, as Newcastle would've been last Saturday, and I`m sure he will do equally well this Saturday as a Monarch.
  9. Some of what this particular poster posts shouldn't be taken seriously.
  10. There`s not to many teams that will get anywhere near Newcastle at Brough park, so last nights result will be repeated. Berwick were in it up to the last four heats, but all in all a reasonable performance. Agree with you about Lambert, he`s going to take some stopping this season, and could quite easily become the PL No1.
  11. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/15359/newcastle-berwick-ttt-2016-30pm Congratulations to Newcastle on winning the Tyne/Tweed Trophy.
  12. No need to hijack this thread to discuss personal issues, surely that be kept to PM`s, stick to the title of the thread, there`s enough juice to be squeezed from that.
  13. It may well be, but it is also a access way for people to get out the back of the main stand, and the view cant be that much better from standing at the back rather than sitting in the back row. There cant be a bad view from anywhere inside the EoES, I am afraid I back those who want to stop people from standing in a seated area.
  14. Delighted to report that Berwick`s Leon Flint has won the first round of the British Youth Championship up at Glasgow this afternoon.
  15. Maybe he`s just good at what he does, look after Poole Speedway.
  16. Newcastle have a far stronger side out tonight than last night, so we may need all of the ten point advantage. But we were written off at Armadale last Friday and look what happened, so we are aren`t giving up yet.
  17. Maybe this is just a Peterborough thing but I don`t understand why you would go into an area with perfectly good seats and stand, I mean its not as if the EoES struggles for space, space where you can stand if you want.
  18. Agree with Ford 100%, its up to the rest to catch up with Poole, it shouldn't be for Poole to come back to the pack.
  19. Might need more than crossing fingers. Tai Woffinden ‏@TWoffinden 11m11 minutes ago Just got to the track 99.9% the race will not be on tonight! But thats just my opinion
  20. Shouldn't that be Scotland with a little piece of England.
  21. Berwick continued their winning ways against a depleted Newcastle team, but you can only beat what`s in-front of you and Berwick did that. Berwick`s all round team strength was the key with all but Mellgren winning a race, Newcastle main threat came from young Lambert who was excellent both in terms of winning races on his own but also in his team riding with the equally impressive Ryan Fisher. Hopefully ten points will be enough to bring another trophy to Shielfield but with riders returning to the Newcastle we will need all of the ten points. One big positive was the size of the crowd, the meeting was held up at the start to let people in, last weeks crowd was good but there look to be more there last night.
