  1. Noticed this on the Newcastle Speedway Twitter page, hope nobody minds me putting a link on here. https://www.gofundme.com/273vdqxw
  2. Don`t think there should be a problem with a visa for Proctor, as he went for a Tier 2 visa which meant he couldn't start racing over here till now, whether you`d want him in your team is another matter of course.
  3. Fair enough then we can expect a press release later from Campbell and/or Edinburgh Speedway putting the record straight, and taken action against the journalist.
  4. So the direct quotes attributed to Campbell are entirely made up then.
  5. Professional management the Edinburgh way.
  6. There is an update on Berwick`s Facebook page on Kieran, in it it says after having MRI scans Kieran and his family had a choice of have surgery or being fitted with a brace that would have to be worn for eight weeks. as there was a small chance of long term problems with surgery they have decided to have the brace fitted, all being well Kieran will be home by the weekend.
  7. Mr Batchelor isn't my favourite rider and I thought his attitude was an embarrassment to Kings Lynn last night, obviously he had problems with his own bike but to refuse the use of a team mates bike is unacceptable. Dont buy this lack of match fitness as he rides for just about the one track in this Country where you can practice just about any time you want.
  8. Lewis Rose 8️⃣ 2️⃣ 2️⃣ ‏@Rose822 9h9 hours ago Paid 7 from 3 at wolves gutted had to withdraw but all good ready for Thursday. Thanks everyone for the messages
  9. NKI and young Lambert rescue a point for Kings Lynn. Troy Batchelor a total disgrace to the good people at Kings Lynn Speedway.
  10. Here`s another for the refs out there, to my knowledge there`s been two riders excluded from races for crossing the centre green, Henning Bager at Newcastle recently being one, but in todays meeting at Rye House Redcar`s David Bellego was put back 15m. Is this another case of one rule with two interpretations.
  11. Surely this two reserves races in one meeting needs looking at, it cant be right that Kings Lynn are forced to use only one rider in the second reserve race through no fault of their own.
  12. Unless Batchelor gets going this could get very untidy for kings Lynn. Sad to hear that Rory Schlein will be out for another two months. Pathetic from Batchelor there, didn't fancy going out one bit, if I was a Kings Lynn fan I`d be less than impressed with our former SGP star.
  13. There should be no difficulty in this decision for the referee, bye bye Howarth.
  14. Perfect start credit to Masters, I think NKI almost admitted as much as he chocked on his words having seen the replays.
  15. Congratulations to Berwick`s Leon Flint who has finished 2nd in today British Youth 250cc Championships at Scunthorpe.
  16. Coventry certainly have been hit hard of late, but Liam looked steady on his track return on Saturday after out PL match with Redcar so a return for the Storm might happen sooner rather than later.
  17. Are Scunthorpe still doing their average reconfiguration calculations.
  18. Agree with you, I thought Hts 13 & 15 were as good races as you could ever want to see.
  19. There`s an update on Berwick`s Facebook page on his condition, if all goes well with MRI scans he will be allowed home to recover, worse case is that he will require an operation.
  20. Kevin Doolan has scored 15 +1 from six rides today guesting for Peterborough at Scunthorpe, another score like that would be very handy.
  21. The state Berwick were in any win was a good win, our best rider out injured, reserve out injured, and one or two among the walking wounded. A home win with some good racing = good night at the speedway.
