  1. Great to see Berwick back to a seven man team, lets hope David is worth the wait and comes up with points to keep our play off push going.
  2. Berwick in recent years have attracted GP Qualifiers, World Finals, and last Saturday a British final, Sky have chosen a Berwick home meeting four times now so somebody some where thinks the club are doing something right. I don`t think anyone has put Berwick forward as the epitome of great racing, its true we`ve had some rotten meetings at times, but we`ve also had meetings that were excellent, to describe it as crap is way off mark and a bit daft really.
  3. Thanks for posting the link, very helpful for those of us who will be making their first trip to the new Belle Vue Speedway.
  4. Sayfutdinov certainly has the talent to be World Champ, whether he has the drive is another matter, doesn't seem to be the kind of rider to see his ambition and really go after it no matter what as he tends to let others decide his future for him, sponsors, manager etc. I would love to see him back in the GP`s but I agree with those who have said it should only be through the qualifiers, he may bring some commercial bonuses with him but it should be remembered he dropped out of the GP`s and there will be more deserving cases come the end of the current GP series.
  5. I will be using the bus from my hotel, there and hopefully back.
  6. Yes you are quite right, my mistake. Still don`t see him as our replacement for Alden due to the rules regarding EL clubs No8`s.
  7. Surely our reserve for the SWC has to be Josh Bates.
  8. Time they took arguing, debating whether to ride the Final, they could've had the Final ridden.
  9. No point in having Lambert as reserve as he only gets a ride should one of our four get injured and IMO he is to good to be sat in the pits all night, he must be in the team along with Woffinden, King and Cook. Thanks for dragging this thread kicking and screaming back to its original subject, perhaps it might catch on.
  10. Maybe so but he would also miss at least three Saturday nights as he takes part in the SEC series.
  11. So with 129 pages of argument and debate have we actually get an answer to the threads title, should Tai Woffinden ride for Team GB.
  12. EmilRacing89 ‏@EmilRacing89 3h3 hours ago Will not work anymore whit persons who lied my ones ... #live #hardlive #nevergiveup #keepwork #futurelookgood
  13. Well done jellyman, hopefully your kind gesture makes a tidy sum for the Ben Fund.
  14. While Gapinski isn't a regular at Stal Gorzow this season he is very unlikely to give up his Polish license, Seb Ulamek rode yesterday for Czestochowa so you can rule him out to, infact you could just about rule out any rider with a Ekstralega club. That leaves the Nice Polish Liga, they still run squad systems but you`ve more chance in getting a rider out of their squads who isn't racing on a regular bases.
  15. I think I am right in saying we have 4 home and 4 away in the PL, at least 2 more meetings in the KOC, against Rye House, and 1 challenge meeting with Workington, plus any meetings should Berwick make the play offs.
  16. He rode in Berwick`s meeting last night, and I think he had a practice at Peterborough on Friday, but IMO not the new rider Berwick need.
  17. Yes he rode in last nights meeting, lively style, attacked the track but no where near a 7pt assessed PL rider.
  18. Lets hope everything works out, the club have been working overtime to get the right rider in.
  19. Don`t bother, its difficult to reason with the hard of understanding.
  20. With the 4`s next weekend it might've been a request from the BSPA.
  21. Berwick`s Leon Flint took part in last nights FIM World 250 Youth cup in Gustrow, as some wont know how he got on I wont spoil things, but here is the meeting, Leon is racing at No4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28jYRJ-Zrnc
  22. It would be pointless bringing in a rider to strengthen the lower end of the team, with Gappmaier and Carr at reserve we have strength there. Your weakness is covering for Alden with R/R, to ask Gappmaier to move up and score adequately would be a mistake.
