  1. Then why have qualifiers at all, all BSI need to do is pick the riders who might be able to bring in an extra few through the gates, which Sayfutdinov can do, or give wild cards picks to what is perceived to be the top sixteen riders in the World. I would love to see Emil back in the GP`s but it was his decision and his decision alone to leave SGP, I don`t see how he should get back in at a time of his choosing, as others have said if he wants to get back to GP speedway then it should be via the qualification system, I am sure we would all be supporting him in that quest.
  2. I can see wolves winning and maybe even by enough to make to second leg on Wednesday a real cliff hanger.
  3. Most of us had Newcastle down as favourites for at least the final and maybe even potential winners so to see Sheffield getting through is a surprise, but isn't that just the play offs for you.
  4. Gate and go virtually every race, sadly this isn't the thrilling climax i thought it might be.
  5. Looks like it is very much one of Fricke, Lambert or Pieszczek for the title with hopefully Lambert coming out on top.
  6. Agree with you, it seems Pedersen`s reputation goes before him, and Nicki does no better or worse than any other rider in the GP`s.
  7. Something that Tai Woffinden hinted at during his interview last night.
  8. Unfortunately its looks like the final round in this years SGP will be a bit of an anti-climax as with Doyle injuries it will mean a clear run for Hancock to the World title which is a real shame as it was all boiling up to be a shoot out between him and Doyle. Hopefully Doyle will make a full recovery and be ready for another go at becoming World Champ next year as this year he has proved to everyone he has what it takes.
  9. Going by Woffinden`s comments there the Wolves team spirit might have taken a bit of a hit tonight.
  10. Un-tidy viewing, it looked like the two bikes lifted the air fence and Jason went into the rear fence at full speed. Finger crossed.
  11. No riders named as yet on this thread, give it a month or two and among the bickering will be posters putting forward their chosen teams.
  12. Fully agree with you, I like the idea of having a draft system but IMO the BSPA didn't go far enough as it cant be right to have Konopka, Hollub etc finding themselves in a reserve position when a British draft has been put up into the top five simply down to averages.
  13. Don't mind Sayfutdinov back in SGP but I don't think he should get a wild card pick from BSI.
  14. All credit to Wolves on their win, better team over the two legs and fully deserve to be in the Final. Unfortunately for Poole with all their injuries and illness it was probably one meeting to far especially with to many under performing riders. Two riders certainly above criticism was Newman and Ellis who kept their team in the meeting virtually single handed and Ellis was very hard done by when excluded when it clearly should've been Karlsson.
  15. Poor decision from the referee there, Poole need to stay positive as their reserves can still get them to the Final.
  16. Could be crucial, Poole need to use their reserves wisely as that`s where most of their points will come from.
  17. Big ride coming up for GP rider Holder, questions must be asked about the decision to use Tungate who so far has not been great.
  18. Excellent ride from Ellis surely he will be in for seven rides tonight.
  19. Poole`s strength at reserve will be telling tonight, especially with the R/R rides.
  20. Whether its Poole or Wolves who progress to the final I hope we can at least be respectful on here afterwards, its not life or death its a speedway meeting. We have all had our say either way so may the best team will go through.
