  1. Fair point though you have to give credit to Belle Vue on the performance in the first leg that has turned the second leg into a formality.
  2. Daft move from Gomolski and rightly excluded, giving the Gorzow pair another go at beating Hancock.
  3. For all those who like a conspiracy about Pedersen pulling out of Zorro`s meeting today it appears Matt Ford was actually there in Smederna.
  4. As I posted yesterday if Rathbone is to be the new owner he may well have someone already that will run Berwick Speedway day to day, but it is also true that there are many people already at the club who do a valuable job, largely for little reward, who will still be there whoever takes over.
  5. I hope its a cracker to bring down the curtain on another Polish season, I think Stal will come out on top, Zmarzlik at reserve should be a trump card.
  6. Nothing illegal in exploiting loop holes in the rules, not having them there in the first place wouldn't be a bad start or maybe just enforcing the rules as they state wouldn't be a bad idea either.
  7. Probably right regarding Ford`s interpretation, only a guess but I would think long term injury at this stage of the season would mean Anderson wouldn't be able to take his place in any of Poole`s play off meeting and/or his season would be over though by riding today in Poland that blows both those arguments out of the water.
  8. A rider having to pull out of a meeting because of an injury is nothing to laugh at. I hope Bjarne will be able to take his place in the meeting tomorrow night.
  9. Bjarne Pedersen has pulled out of the Magnus Zetterstrom meeting in Sweden due to a knee injury.
  10. Do you mean this one. 12.4 The rider’s hair and neck between the Helmet and the suit must be covered; scarves or neckerchiefs must not trail so as to be a possible source of danger
  11. I`m sure his Polish club will have had Hans out practising this week by way of proving his fitness or not, by racing today that clearly shows his injury is not long term, so the BSPA should not have sanctioned the Lindback move in the first place though if Poole claimed the Anderson injury was long term and season ending you can understand why they did, now the BSPA should rule Lindback`s move to Poole illegal and enforce the rule as it stands.
  12. Me to, if Buster Chapman is serious about his Chairmanship of the BSPA then he must move to rule Poole`s team illegal. If the supporters can see then the rule makers should do to.
  13. Ok fair enough, but I am sure Poole will now recall the fit again Anderson.
  14. Not yet they haven't, Poole were quite entitled to use Lindback until Anderson was fit to return, which he has today by racing for his Polish club. That means he should resume racing for Poole starting at Wolves tomorrow night, if Lindback stays in the team then Poole are breaking the rules and you`d love to think the BSPA would grow a set and make sure all the clubs in this years EL play offs stick by the rules, however I am sure we will see Anderson suffer a re-action to racing today and be deemed unfit for the Poole fixture tomorrow night.
  15. A new owner may well bring in his own manger which I hope doesn't happen as IMO Scott did enough this season to be kept in his job. Fair to say if it wasn't for likes of Dennis Berwick Speedway probably wouldn't be here today.
  16. Surprised to haven't been jumped on the usual crew for spreading these rumours, its not on on the Berwick threads. I would welcome someone coming in that is new to Berwick with a fresh approach both on and off the track.

  18. To the best of my knowledge Pedersen has never had to rely on BSI for a wild card, but there is no way we would go into 2017 with Nicki in the SGP. Hopefully he will make a full and speedy recovery and be back good as new for next season.
  19. Hate is a strong word, and I don`t see why a wheel chair should make any difference. I have riders that I favour more than others but I don`t have it in me to hate anyone. We have a rider, regardless of who it is, who has picked up serious injuries, any sensible thinking person would wish him the best, those that can`t bring themselves to do that would do better to stay off the thread. As for Darcy Ward`s comments, if you have nothing sensible to say probably best to say nothing.
  20. I would hope the picks aren`t for the rider who by his own choice left the series who now by his own choice is ready to return, surely its for the rider like Nicki Pedersen who will not get a top eight place because of injury, or the rider like Hampel who had a place in this years series only to lose his place through injury, or for the rider who misses out on a place because he lost a run off in the GP Challenge having gone through the qualifying system.
  21. I agree that Sayfutdinov will be an added attraction to SGP but he chose, for what ever reason, to leave the series, I think now he has decided to return he should do the qualifiers as I think it would be unfair on other riders who have tried season after season to qualify. I accept that at times the qualification system can be a mine field but that applies to all the riders competing.
