One wonders had been another rider what would happen regarding a future ban, agree with you about his podium interview, pathetic. Thing is had he just retired from the race with engine problems, real or otherwise I doubt any of this would've happened, so I`m afraid Mr Hancock has brought all this on himself.

Berwick 2017 50th Year
screm replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Things seem to be quite positive at Plymouth, though they may drop to the NL, but hopefully a season or two in the NL might at least give them an option of a return to PL racing. Lets hope there`s good news coming from Workington very soon. Rumours on this forum suggest there`s one or two clubs looking to move leagues both up and down, with the AGM in a couple of weeks I`m sure things will be clearer after that. -
The regulations certainly make for interesting reading but as I posted before Hancock`s exclusion yesterday should be enough punishment. Hopefully in the years to come he will be remembered as a worthy World champion for 2016 and not for going off on the huffy bus as he did yesterday.

Giving the hour of the post I`d say a certain amount of alcohol affected things a bit. -
Monsters sponsorship has been fantastic for speedway and long may it continue, but they shouldn't be allowed to affect the World Championship standings. IMO Hancock was dealt with yesterday with an exclusion, that is where his punishment should end, much worse for Hancock is the damage to his image within speedway ( for the fans anyway ).

Wildcards 2017.....
screm replied to Panthers89's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
You would have to feel sorry for Janowski if he is over looked for a wild card in favour of Hampel, true it was injury that took Hampels GP spot away from him but I haven't seen anything in his comeback meetings that would suggest he would be competitive at SGP level, if there is to be another Pole in the GP`s then surely Janowski has a better shout than Hampel. -
Hark at Mr attention seeker.

Hang on that`s our new team manager your criticising, though I agree with you completely. I think its to the FIM juries credit that they made their decision today.
-
I`m hoping Steve Brandon doesn't bottle the question with Hancock.
-
All credit to Holder on his win, but the meeting will be over shadowed by the actions of the new World Champion.
-
One good thing about Hancock spitting his dummy is that we`ve been spared Monster Joe all over our tv`s, so every cloud.

No surprise over on Twitter that all Hancock`s mates see nothing wrong, Middlo, Havelock etc.

Greg Hancock @GregHancock45 18s19 seconds ago Hey all, thank you for all you do for me & our great sport! I'm so excited on becoming World Champ again. Thanks to the FIM Jury as well.

Huffy Hancock.

Hancock wouldve been better just packing up all together, probably no questions asked. One wonders if he will face any further action, or will his reputation save him.
-
Hardly what you want to see from a World champion.

Looks a bit gate and go so far, track looks packed in hard. Congratulations to Greg Hancock, certainly a speedway legend.

Crashes You Couldn’t Believe A Rider Walked Away From
screm replied to sparkafag's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Don`t know if any of these have been mentioned already but I saw Josef Franc and Seemond Stephens demolish most of the first bend fencing at Berwick one night in a Berwick v Exeter match, another one was Gino Franchetti being catapulted over the fence and hitting the flood light pylon on the exit of bend two, again at Berwick. -
Bit of an anti climax for the Championship but there`s still places to fight for further down the list, lets hope its a decent meeting.

I would assume so yes, at least I have seen anything to say Berwick wont compete in next years PL. I suppose we need to wait for a couple of weeks to see what changes come out of the AGM.
