  2. Hang on that`s our new team manager your criticising, though I agree with you completely. I think its to the FIM juries credit that they made their decision today.
  3. I`m hoping Steve Brandon doesn't bottle the question with Hancock.
  4. All credit to Holder on his win, but the meeting will be over shadowed by the actions of the new World Champion.
  5. One good thing about Hancock spitting his dummy is that we`ve been spared Monster Joe all over our tv`s, so every cloud.
  6. Neil Middleditch ‏@middlo57 2m2 minutes agoSturminster Marshall, England If your bike is slowing you check to make sure your not impeding others prove otherwise.so called experts He cant be serious surely.
  7. No surprise over on Twitter that all Hancock`s mates see nothing wrong, Middlo, Havelock etc.
  8. Greg Hancock ‏@GregHancock45 18s19 seconds ago Hey all, thank you for all you do for me & our great sport! I'm so excited on becoming World Champ again. Thanks to the FIM Jury as well.
  9. Hancock wouldve been better just packing up all together, probably no questions asked. One wonders if he will face any further action, or will his reputation save him.
  10. Hardly what you want to see from a World champion.
  11. Looks a bit gate and go so far, track looks packed in hard. Congratulations to Greg Hancock, certainly a speedway legend.
  12. Don`t know if any of these have been mentioned already but I saw Josef Franc and Seemond Stephens demolish most of the first bend fencing at Berwick one night in a Berwick v Exeter match, another one was Gino Franchetti being catapulted over the fence and hitting the flood light pylon on the exit of bend two, again at Berwick.
  13. Bit of an anti climax for the Championship but there`s still places to fight for further down the list, lets hope its a decent meeting.

  15. I would assume so yes, at least I have seen anything to say Berwick wont compete in next years PL. I suppose we need to wait for a couple of weeks to see what changes come out of the AGM.
  16. Certainly has, speedway saved and new jobs coming to Berwick.
  17. Gary Havelock next venture has been announced, he is part of a consortium taking over at Berwick.
  18. FIFTY, NOT OUT! We can celebrate -- your Bandits will be marching on into their fiftieth season of speedway. John Anderson has today revealed the official sale of the club, as a going concern, to an alliance of Scott and Jamie Courtney, together with 1992 World Champion Gary Havelock. "We are pleased to have done a deal, properly and courteously, with Scott, Gary and Jamie" said John. "It is good to know the club is passing into the hands of people who have all been steeped in speedway, probably since birth!" "I can reveal we had other offers, but these are the guys we have chosen". "After all, the continuation of the Bandits for their fiftieth season -- and hopefully for many, many more seasons after this – is the most important thing. This is what Heppy, Ryan and I felt was best for all concerned". For the incoming ownership group, Scott said that he and Dennis (McCleary) would be the promoters in 2017, while Gary Havelock – after four years running the team at Elite League Coventry – would be the team manager. In conclusion, John Anderson said he wished to thank everyone who had contributed so much time and effort to help in the running of speedway at Berwick with him since 2008. “Everyone has been great, and I cannot mention them all” he stated. “However, I want to specifically and personally thank Dennis McCleary, Ian Rae and Dick Barrie for so much, often unseen, assistance over these past eight great years”. “The club is passing into a new, fresh era, and I wish the new guys the very best of good luck and good times”. 19. Glasgow Tigers ‏@_glasgowtigers 9m9 minutes ago NEWS: The club have secured the services of Arthur Sissis for this Mondays KO Cup Final 2nd Leg at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium. Doesn't say Sissis will be in for the 1st leg.
  20. Maybe that could happen if we ever get a pay per view section on this forum.
  21. 2012, Coventry v Wolves fixture never took place so both clubs only completed 27 meetings.
  22. Posted on the Glasgow Sheffield thread that Garcia dislocated his knee last night so you would think he will be doubtful for both meetings with the Diamonds.
  23. Do you mean this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77BhcCbUDkk
