  1. What a ridiculous post, maybe you could ask why Bandit59 didn't attend. What do you suggest, take away the Berwick live stream, or BSN for that matter.
  2. Best meeting I have seen this season at Berwick, admittedly I have not been to every meeting but last night I was happy to pay my £20 with an entertaining meeting with some very good racing. Leon Flint and Berwick can feel hard done to when his back tyre gave up while in second place in the last and deciding race, but ultimately the race is over four laps and not three and one quarter, anyway the reason for the loss cant be put at that particular door as that would be foolish. Once again the opposition out numbered the home side in race winners and once we head into the last few races, and the away team have a strong one and five, Berwick usually come un-stuck, as they did last night. Add in one or two strange managerial decisions and you have your reasons for another home defeat. The long term future for Edinburgh Speedway is uncertain, if they do come to the tapes in 2024 then I would be getting a contract under the nose of Bastian Borke, on first viewing last night Edinburgh have something special on their hands.
  3. Berwick will never get a better opportunity to actually win a meeting.
  4. So far so good with the weather, even had a bit of sunshine earlier on. Right now its cloudy but dry. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  5. Quite frankly I am surprised Berwick couldn't find a guest willing to ride for Berwick tomorrow night, the fixture with Edinburgh is the only Championship match tomorrow night.
  6. Teams Berwick 1 R/R 2 Jonas Knudson 3 Jye Etheridge 4 Leon Flint 5 Thomas Jorgensen 6 Lee Complin 7 Connor Coles Edinburgh 1 Josh Pickering 2 Bastian Borke 3 Kye Tomsen 4 5 Craig Cook 6 Dayle Wood 7 Jason Edwards Meeting preview from official site https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/looking-forward-to-edinburgh-monarchs-2/ Weather forecast https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 Prediction Berwick should win comfortably and come Sunday morning the sun will shine a little brighter, the birds will sing a little sweeter and all will be well with the World as it would've done last week had the rain not intervened.
  7. You are on the wrong thread, try the Poole one.
  8. My only issue with whoever or whatever is trotted out on the website is, please could there be a read through before publishing as the last two efforts leave words in the article that don't exist.
  9. Not just Berwick who have injury worries for tomorrow night. https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2023-07-21/blow-as-fredriksen-joins-injured-list
  10. Lee Complin guests on Saturday for Berwick in place of Jacob Hook.
  11. For those who wish to, this is Rory Schlein`s crash from last night.
  12. Obviously there is little anyone can do about the weather, though there is more fixtures being called off due to a poor forecast than ever before, not necessarily a bad thing. But what is clear is that the Berwick fixture list for this season has been a complete shambles, with so many blank Saturday`s it very easy to lose track of what is actually happening and easier still to find something else to do with your Saturday nights.
  13. Forecast isn't the greatest for Saturday, hopefully that will change before Saturday.
  14. Whoever the promotion tells him it is.

  16. Personally speaking I hope those responsible are dealt with and then reported to the Police.
  17. Statement from Berwick Speedway Police are investigating after criminal damage was caused at Shielfield Park over the weekend.Northumbria Police was contacted after instances of trespass and attempted trespass at the stadium and Old Shielfield during which damage was caused to areas of the stadium including the speedway pits.Berwick Speedway, alongside Berwick Rangers FC condemn this irresponsible, reckless and dangerous behaviour. Malicious damage and trespassing will not be tolerated by either club.Anyone who can help identify those responsible is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 or information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
  18. As far as I know Leon has a full time mechanic in place for this season, but I agree Leon has not progressed as I thought he would. Maybe being part of a struggling team is part of it with a pressure to deliver big scores every week, maybe a change of scenery is needed for 2024.
  19. Leon Flint missed out on retaining his Under-21 title up at Glasgow today where he was illuminated at the qualifying stage. He finished with 10pts but missed out on the semi final on count back.
  20. I can think of a few riders that wouldn't have been so charitable as Vaculik.
