Congratulation to Leon Flint on his selection for the FIM World Champioships that are to be held at Prague later this season. I know of one group of fans who will be there to cheer him on. https://www.leonflintracing.com/single-post/2017/06/30/Flint-Selected-For-World-Championships -

Must admit your probably the only person who feels that, I thoroughly enjoyed my time. No problems with parking, left the car at the hotel and used the bus. -

Talking of Swindon I see they have bought David Bellego from Berwick. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2904.1 -
Fine by me, thoroughly enjoyed my trip there last year for the play off and final.

Richard Hall can have no complaints at being dropped, just look at his scores.

The Aussies wont be the only team sweating on the fitness of one of their riders, Team GB are waiting to hear if Robert Lambert will take his place on Saturday.

Morris has been named the the Australian team for up coming SWC Event 1 at Kings Lynn. That would be the eighth day after his concussion, so maybe that rule has changed

Like other managers in other teams sports Rosco will live or die by his decisions, especially this one not naming Lambert at No5 where the majority of us believe he should be. If he gets it right and Team GB get through to the Final Rosco will be proved to have made the right call. Get it wrong, or even worse get it spectacularly wrong and there will be only one road left open to Rossiter and that will either resignation or if his ego wont let him be sacked. -
Scunthorpe V Berwick 25/06/2017

Yes but we went into this meeting minus arguably our two best riders, yes we had a guest in Howarth, without our two regular reserves, so just failing to score a point is a reasonable effort IMO. -

According to updates you and Mr Wilko had whatever handbags is at the pit gate, and we look after our own at Berwick. Mr Wilko will tell you that. -

Berwick just miss out on a point, even with a depleted team. Plenty effort but with the injuries we have suffered we are always up against. What was Wilkinson up to with Howe, pick on someone your own size you big bully. -

As much as work, and/or wallet allows I try a bit of both. I have done Berwick most weeks with a trip to Prague thrown in. I will be attending Kings Lynn next Saturday, Peterborough for the 4`s and Torun SGP. -
Your point is a good one, Bridger`s average of 6-59 is of course his true average though at the time of his injury he was riding well with little doubt his average would rise. For most of the current Berwick team their averages change effective from tomorrow, I wonder if that will encourage another change.

Nothing wrong with bald as a coot, some of us have little choice in the matter. -
Whilst I agree with your sentiment you can`t give up on your team in the bad times, and boy have we seen some bad times. The averages worked against Berwick with their search for a Bridger replacement as we had a riders true average way higher than his actual average and bringing in better riders would`ve meant Berwick making more than one change, though I agree there`s little to be excited about signing Jacobs. In general the actual racing this season has been decent, and very good at times and as someone who wants to see good speedway I have had value for money most weeks and will keep going though it would be nice to see Berwick track seven of their own riders, keep those seven riders for the full meeting and win now and again. Glad you enjoyed your curry.

To be fair to Berwick it is much better than it was and having a second paramedic has been a great idea.
-
Signing Jacobs does make us weaker IMO, but just as the averages worked for us earlier in the season with Gappmaier they have worked against us in trying to find a replacement for Bridger. Well done to Redcar on their win last night, but again injuries hit Berwick. Even with Etheridge Berwick would still have lost as he wasn't having the greatest night up to his accident anyway, thankfully it seems he has got away without serious injury so hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later. Wonder what's happened to Gappmaier, he has gone from potential match winner to looking completely uninterested last night, the promotion and fans deserve better.

Apart from last night when we had a delay while waiting for the County ambulance to take the unfortunate Jye Etheridge to hospital.
