  1. Newcastle`s Steve Worrall guests at No1 for Nick Morris who will be riding at Swindon.
  2. Oh my goodness people stay off Twitter, moaning speedway riders, dont you just love them.
  3. You get the feeling Ipswich might just reap what they sow regarding this latest episode. Here you have two riders who know all things being equal they would be dropped, its hardly encouragement to go out and do your best. If Sedgeman, for example, has all his visa`s sorted he is bound to be an attractive signing come next year as he cant be dropped unless he gets injured and who would blame him if he played a wonky hand between now and the end of the season.
  4. Has there been a team affected by so many injuries before, no luck whatsoever.
  5. As long as speedway is largely governed by averages there never will be any kind of notice period as as soon as a rider knows they were on notice they would down tools to lower their average. For all we know the rider coming into the Ipswich team may only have become available in the last few days so the Ipswich promotion would need to make a quick decision.
  6. Looks like there will be news later on this evening, maybe Sedgeman`s replacement. Ipswich Witches‏ @ipswichspeedway 14m14 minutes agoMore We will have news on our website and social channels from 8pm this evening #speedway #Tru7Witches
  7. Wouldn't you just know, I can see clubs up and down the Country running on off nights and/or double headers to try and catch up and complete their league meetings before the cut off.
  8. Even thinking about getting rid of George English from Newcastle speedway is completely, utterly and totally crazy. He has a track record either of team manager or promoter that many would kill for. Ok maybe this season hasn't quite gone the way that some Diamonds fans would've like but good grief take a look at the league table, there`s one or two clubs that would trade places with Newcastle in a heart beat.
  9. Maybe Ipswich management were giving the rider time to turn his form around, obviously they think that hasn't happened and so have made a change. Chris Louis and co must do what they see as the best thing to do for Ipswich Speedway, must admit I was surprised they went with Sedgeman in the first place.
  10. Maybe there will be more clubs than Ipswich who are on the cusp of the play offs who will be making changes either today or tomorrow.
  11. 12 minutes ago More Now I've just been drop by @ipswichspeedway now have a few hours to sort a club out before the cut off date ? Does any one want to help me Justin Sedgeman dropped. 12 minutes ago More Now I've just been drop by @ipswichspeedway now have a few hours to sort a club out before the cut off date ? 12. I take it Morris will be in Poland and Jacobsen signed to late. If that is the team we will go in with no reserve.
  13. Must admit when the David Howe signing was announced I was underwhelmed to say the least, however with his performances on track and his professional attitude off track he has certainly proved me and one or two others wrong and now must be high on the list of riders for the 2018 Berwick team.
  14. No matter who he belongs to I think there is only one place where David wants to be next season.
  15. Let it not be forgotten who it was that ruled themselves out of selection for Team GB. All Tai needs to do is put is toys back into his pram and make himself available again.
  16. No complaints from me, value for money. Berwick looked to be on their way to a proper hammering but credit to them for pulling the meeting right round before Sheffield took control towards the end. Night to forget for Gappmaier but more good things from Etheridge and Howe.
  17. Not sure it would work geographically or time wise but I see that three meetings were called off earlier today at NL tracks, maybe that freed up riders for the club to consider though getting them from Eastbourne, Mildenhall and Plymouth to Berwick for seven could be a bit of an obstacle. Edit, Berwick guest at No7 tonight will Joe Lawlor.
  18. I was sent a PM from a fellow forum member asking for the meeting format, hopefully someone out there might have an idea though as you say if the people running the actual meeting have only just worked out the teams involved don`t know yet what chance a supporter.
  19. Does it really need to be about the money though, here we have a fellow poster one programme away from completing his collection of programmes from the Berrington Lough days, wouldnt it be great to help him out. If you have, or know someone who has this programme I`m sure you can come to some arrangement.
  20. Fair to say Berwick`s press releases, and the way they keep their supporters up to date has not been great this season.
  21. Lovely start to this race day and forecast to stay that way. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  22. Hope you find what you are looking for but as you say its a bit of a long shot, there`s a few Berwick v Edinburgh programmes over on Ebay but not for the date you are looking for.
  23. Would anyone out there have a heat by heat race format on how this meeting will be run. Thanks in advance for any help.
