Fantastic to see Craig Cook make SGP next season, certainly returned to top form just at the right time. -

Another good meaning where once again I had value for money, sad then there was not as many there to see it as usual, hopefully those who don`t attend as regular anymore will return as the racing has been of a decent level for most of this season. Congratulations to Nick Morris on his paid max, he had to ride some very tough first turns to do so but he was a class above last night and also delighted to hear that Tero Aarnio`s injury is not as bad as announced last night. -

Lets hope the second part of your prediction works out a bit better than the first. -

Tero Aarnio a good job for Newcastle last season and is putting in some very decent scores for Scunthorpe this, in fact some match winning scores at times so his scoring tonight will go along way to deciding his side's fate. Sadly for him and Scunthorpe I can only see a reasonably comfortable home win. -

Dont think the dropping of Sedgeman was the problem, it was the almighty cock up that the Ipswich promotion made of it that saw them having to take back a rider they clearly didn't want. -

Jack Holder And The (lack Of A) 9 Month Ban
screm replied to SCB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Holder will get away without a ban as his club gave him permission to miss the 4`s and the meeting at Newcastle last night, probably Scunthorpe next Sunday to race in Poland. -
I have sympathy for the paying public of both sides, especially those who have followed Peterborough at Edinburgh and then Berwick last night, I have sympathy for the Newcastle promotion who have done nothing wrong yet have to try a get a decent crowd through the door. I have zero sympathy with the Peterborough promotion who have let one of their better riders disappear off to Poland just so they can get a few extra pounds in the kitty. I am sure they will do their best but this could arguably the weakest Championship this season.

Hugely enjoyable meeting and certainly worth the admission, and very nice to win a tight meeting for a change. Peterborough forced their way back into the meeting with an 8-1 in Ht9 and then a 5-1 in Ht14 looked to have Peterborough as favourites going into the last race but thanks to Nick Morris and another heroic ride from David Howe saw the home side home. Hopefully all the injured riders will be able to take part in their next meetings especially Ulrich Ostergaard who survived a nasty looking accident when running into Steve Worrall and Jack Parkinson Blackburn who ended his night in an ambulance due to a Ht12 crash.

Dont worry us morons will find something to bleat about next week the week after and any other week you want to name. Maybe we could bleat about posters who come onto threads and complain about other posters bleating.
