  1. Harris has a Championship average where Nicholls hasn't, maybe that has something to do with it.
  2. Danny King Nico Covatti Cameron Heeps Micheal Haertel Rory Schlein Danny Hulme
  3. Would this be same Jason Doyle that rode a good chunk of last season for all of his clubs with a broken foot. Any criticism of Doyle for that reason is harsh to say the least.
  4. Good luck to Leon Flint on his move into National League racing with Birmingham.
  5. Delighted to see the Comets confirming that they will race next season as it would have been very easy and understandable if the Workington promotion had decided to walk away. It is to be hoped the stay away fans of Workington speedway return in numbers to support their team.
  6. One of my biggest regrets is never seeing Tomasz Gollob ride, so I am delighted to see him now out of hospital and continuing his rehabilitation that one day will see him walk again.
  7. Great progress on fixed nights, but no agreement.
  8. Sometimes it takes time to come to the correct decisions.
  9. Whilst I echo your argument I think it would be unfair on the likes of Doolan and/or Howe to be shown the door. Both are very dependable riders, ok their good nights aren`t that great but equally they very rarely have poor nights. Doolan has been very reliable over the last few season and I fully expect him to be the first name on the team sheet, Howe came into our team as a massive gamble and IMO very much rode himself into reckoning into next years team though if they change the team limits his average could count against him.
  10. Your most probably right, though replaced by who, IMO its all much of a muchness when it comes to picking the BSPA Chairman.
  11. And who can blame them, the choice between a Ginger Nut and a Chocolate Digestive needs to be carefully debated. Guests, doubling up can wait, this is serious stuff.
  12. Whilst there is no doubt that the racing at Scunthorpe can be very good I feel the facilities may need to be upgraded somewhat before we see a SWC event there. Belle Vue get my vote, great track great facilities.
  13. Don`t see Nick Morris back at Berwick next year, he seems to be looking at a Swedish team for next year to go along side his team in Poland and Swindon in the Premiership. Richard Lawson might be a better shout, its fairly obvious he is leaving Glasgow though if recent rumours that Lakeside are joining the Championship are true you would think he would be high on their list for a team spot there.
  14. After a number of years of rule changes, poor promotion and neglect all of speedways ills wont be put right in one AGM, but the BSPA can at least make a start, that`s all I hope for.
  15. He`s only gone and won it, what an incredible achievement.
  16. All booked up here to for what looks likely to be the last trip to Prague for a while for SGP anyway.
  17. Started off in the No2 position last season which was always going to be a big ask, then seemed to struggle with new engines which sapped his confidence. He did seem to be doing well at Birmingham and that saw him get guest bookings in the Premiership. You would think there would be teams looking at him for next season but he has made his decision.
  18. Kind of puzzled me to. Anyway here`s a little bit more detail from the Birmingham site. http://www.birminghambrummies.co/news.php?extend.2551

  20. Cant we just accept that Nick Morris is the Champion, that`s what it will say in the record books for the rest of time.
  21. The Prague GP has improved with every year in the time I have been going and IMO will be a miss off the calendar. Great city, great food, easy to get around, sad to see it go.
