  1. Looks like Rory Schlein is guesting in the double header meeting at Edinburgh this Friday.
  2. Leon Flint and Jye Etheridge has been selected to ride in the Championship Pairs at Oxford.
  3. I haven't been to Peterborough all that many times, Premier League 4`s a few times plus one league match, but it would be a crying shame to lose the EoES.
  4. I don't disagree with you but riders hold the power now and it seems the BSPL is scared to do anything about it. This meeting used to be a big meeting to win in the second tier of British Speedway, now it seems the riders will chase the money in Poland or where ever.
  5. Riders giving up after three laps and not completing a race is a real bug bear of mine, and what Boxall did was last Saturday was wrong, disrespectful and unprofessional.
  6. I think the vast majority of normal thinking fans understand the delay when there is an injured rider, clearly Saturday was a case in point.
  7. Oxford have dropped Luke Killeen, I would imagine his signing to replace Connor Coles will be along quite soon.
  8. https://www.warwickshireworld.com/news/people/rugby-councillors-told-planning-appeal-for-coventry-stadium-is-set-to-start-next-month-4259439?fbclid=IwAR11ScyD6622iDbub7DnvbcyX1f8j1ESUApZ9yRUHt0GdV0ealrhyUAwopk
  9. To be honest I had a question mark over the signing of Coles, but he has done at least what was expected of him. Depending on league structure and what league Berwick are racing in I wouldn't mind seeing him back next year.
  10. You can add a broken humorous bone to the injury list for Connor Coles, very unlucky for one of the few Berwick riders who has done their job this season.
  11. Looks like Berwick will have to do without Connor Coles for sometime as he has broken his clavicle bone in two places following his accident last night.
  12. Well done to everyone who contributed to the Ben Fund collection, it raised £2000.
  13. Team change. https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/marcin-reluctantly-leaves-tigers/
  14. First of all I wish Connor Coles a speedy recovery on any injuries he has picked up after his accident tonight. Tonight will be my last meeting at Berwick this season, I wish them all the best in their match against Plymouth but I refuse to have £20 taken out of my pocket to be served up with beaten after beaten after beaten. The team wasn't good enough at the start of the season and is worse now.
  15. Wet overnight but happily that has all cleared to leave a very decent day, and forecast to stay that way.
  16. I wouldn't disagree with you but I doubt any rider would be happy to race todays bikes as the track was back then, and to be honest we look back at those days and probably make them out to be better than they actually were. Anyway how the track was then doesn't solve todays issues. Now I am quite happy to concede the Berwick will never win the league, we just don't have enough money in the club by way of main team sponsor, race sponsor and any other kind of sponsor for that matter especially when you look at the kind of budgets other, big city, teams are working to, and most of them are failing to win the league to. So what I want is value for money, something that has been very scarce at Berwick this season, take tonight, I have not pre-bought a ticket and I am struggling to find enough reasons to go.
  17. No doubt there will be a million and one excuses about last night's debacle at Glasgow but the bottom line is this team just isn't good enough in any way shape or form.
  18. You can widen the track as much as you want but if you prepare a track where there is virtually only one line then what you do with the rest is next to useless.
  19. Saved that money its true but with the crowds levels that were reported to be at the meetings there must've been heavy financial losses.
  20. Berwick Bandits had 3 home matches between 6th May to 22nd July, that tells you everything you need to know about the fixture schedule.
