While it is true Thorssell was poor today you could say the same about a number of riders in today's meeting in Torun, was he testing new equipment, was it a confidence thing, if its the latter the more time on the bike racing the better IMO and he should find it easier to win races in our Premiership.

Or being unprofessional as most would see it.

Decent enough meeting with Leon Madsen very impressive. -
Yes I agree, though the Berwick Supporters Club, or what ever they are going to be called, have been the one constant success, something that should be remembered.
-
Been to the Berwick Rangers game today I must pay credit to the track staff who obviously have been working hard on the track, it look very smooth and just about ready to race. On a separate issue I hope all those who can, and have an interest, make to the supporters club up and coming EGM which has been called to sort out the issues.

Will you be on duty though.

On the announcement the other day it seems the Newcastle promotion were damned which ever way they went, say nothing and let the criticism continue, or put out a statement giving an update and face criticism should anything not happen, which seems to have been the case. One thing is clear the Newcastle promotion will need to get these two signings right, which could be one reason for the delay, because it looks like some Championship teams averages wont change until early July and with no signings after August 12th its gives a very small window of opportunity to strengthen.

He could've giving his instructions on track prep over the phone surely, anyway I thought he used to come up early each Saturday, spending most of the day down in Spittal with Scott. Giving the amount of snow we had a couple of weeks ago, and then the heavy rain over the last couple of days I think the track will need plenty drying days and plenty work over the next couple of weeks to get it ship shape for the visit of those Diamonds.

Dont worry its probably personal.

I think its safe to say that there was more than Kelvin Tatum that was owed money by former club owner Lindon.
-
Adding an asset is a very welcome idea, especially to a club like Berwick as our asset base is nothing to write home about just now. I agree with you on Havelock, thanks for your efforts but I think we could do better without him.

Maybe our friend from Cornhill could be the one to reintroduce the much missed weekly news letter.

Delighted to see new sponsors on boards foe 2018, well done to all. http://berwickbandits.co/news/berwick-bandits-welcome-kls-board-2018-team-sponsors

Some how I don't see any comeback being at Newcastle.

Disappointed the Fours have been taken away from the EoES, usually its a great day with great facilities. If the Fours is now going to be a truly shared event then why not Redcar, maybe next season a southern track will hold it, Lakeside for example.
-
But it would have affected every team in the league when they were racing against a team with Nicholls and Kennett in it. Morris is quite entitled to double up as he rode in the Championship last season so qualified for a true average. I applaud the BSPA for sticking to their rules, yes there will be winners and losers but you can`t change to rules governing team building halfway especially after many teams are complete having been assembled under the rules.
-
For to long now many on here have accused the BSPA of not sticking to their rules, like it or not with this case as well as the Nicholls/Kennett case the BSPA have enforced their rules, so I applaud them for doing so.
-
So I take we are no nearer hearing an announcement on venues, dates etc, never mind the rules of the competition. It does seem whoever decided to move away from the SWC that was reasonably successful is making this up as they go along, why fix something that wasn't broken.
-
Don`t worry this twaddle will soon be over and normal service resumed.
-
This seems to have been on the cards for years now, and as you say something of an inevitability. Lets hope the Edinburgh Council do step in and help but probably very unlikely.
-
IMO its either the Lakeside calculator needs batteries, or the BSPA don't know their own rules regarding averages, either way its a mess that makes the sport of speedway look very amateurish.
-
For the reasons giving I get the idea why the P&P needs to be on a week night, I used to like them on a Saturday lunchtime when you would get the Berwick riders and also a few riders from other teams, I`m afraid the last few on Saturday nights and only for Berwick riders are far to stop start for me. Looking at the fixture list it appears we have quite a sparse June and July again which isn't ideal.
-
Fixtures out tomorrow, will Berwick get a genuine tour this season.

Beats me. -
Speaking from experience would you really want to sign Dimitri Berge, apart from him this looks a reasonable team.
