  1. Didn't Nigel Pearson used to be the media man for the BSPA, surely someone out there could step up. The current situation with Rye House sums things up perfectly, the silence coming from Rye House speedway and the BSPA is deafening. Lots of rumours and none of them very positive for the future of Rye House speedway.
  2. Just about to post exactly the same, very poor from the team at the start line.
  3. Maybe its down to the riders to decide where they want to be, for example there are a number if other riders in today's meeting who race regularly in Poland, yet they have made it to Redcar. One way to get the top riding in this kind of meeting would be to put it in their contracts at the start of the season though it would help if the BSPA announced the date and venue of the Fours meeting when the fixtures are complied.
  4. Another poor score from Craig Cook in Poland, having only two rides today it looks like the Rybnik club have finally made their mind up about him.
  5. Woffinden is riding better now than at any other time in his career, superb in the SON and the best rider last night. Keep this form up and he is going to be very difficult to beat for the World crown. Contrast that with Craig Cook who appears to be on the crest of a slump currently and sadly for him a bit out of his depth at present.
  6. Funny old afternoon for Lakeside`s Nick Morris, it appears he is in Ht1 and then doesn't take his second ride until H20, likewise NB Jacobsen of Berwick rides in Ht3 but doesn't take his second ride until Ht17.
  7. I`m quite happy to see changes if its for the better but can you honestly see changes at Berwick, especially the two riders you name. Don`t forget Aaron Summers is our No1 and has been since the start of the season so surely you could ask why hasen`t any of the other riders stepped up to challenge Aaron for his race jacket, maybe the weakness lies there but in all honesty I can`t see any changes happening for the rest of the season.
  8. Fairly predictable elimination from the KOC so congratulations to Edinburgh. The meeting itself was largely uneventful with virtually no passing, amazing that Berwick won this meeting with only five race winners all night. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to former promoter John Anderson who has been in the wars recently.
  9. Seems strange that a company doing all they can to get customers through the would ban one for posting an opinion on a forum. Yes Jenga posts nonsense but deserving of a ban, I think not. Maybe the Workington promotion would do well to leave this forum alone if they aren`t happy with what is being posted.
  10. Best of luck to Leon Flint now he has moved into the main team, though I`m sure he will take it all in his stride.
  11. For Berwick to turn this round tonight is going to take everything to go their way, Edinburgh engine failures, referees decisions and more importantly all the Berwick riders need to have their best meeting and hope Edinburgh dont. Can it happen yes, will it happen, probably not, Berwick will win the meeting IMO but not by enough.
  12. Is that likely, either all seven getting absolutely torn into, or turning the shambles around. Don`t worry you will get over it. Going to be another quick season.
  13. Thankfully for you certain posters don`t visit these threads, otherwise you`d be on the naughty step.
  14. Giving the forecast of rain that has lead to these slick conditions which in turn has lead to virtually no passing. Those who stayed away might just have made the right decision.
  15. Very decent field so you would think there would be some kind of crowd, poor crowd here and for the SON recently.
  16. In affect Newcastle have released Rose when they signed Matej Kus as a replacement.
  17. Looks like Dan Bewley is at it again this time in the European Under-21 meeting in Plzen Czech Republic where he has qualified for the Final with a 15pt maximum.
  18. No injury, just decided he needed time away, whether he would be ready to return I wouldn't know but I guess there is only one way to find out.
  19. Its difficult to see what is easy and obvious when your head is buried in the sand.
  20. Yet more impressive scoring from Leon Flint, this time its 16pts in his sides 50-40 win at Belle Vue, I think I`m right in saying that in the next week or so Leon moves from reserve to be the No1 which is quite an achievement when you look at the riders in the Birmingham team who ride regularly in higher leagues.
  21. I`ve watched Leon`s progression from the smaller cc`s right up to the 500`s and even I have been amazed at what he has been doing this season. Thing is with Leon he takes all of this in his stride and keeps his feet firmly on the floor. Hopefully the likes of him and young Kemp will progress over the next few years.
  22. I agree with you Dean, riders these days have the throttle either shut or on full gas and when they are on a track that is iffy once they hit any grip they are a passenger. That`s not to excuse the track conditions at Stoke last Saturday.
  23. Correct, I think Under-21 riders are considered as juniors and all Polish teams must have two of those at reserve. Not everything is perfect in Poland however there is something to be said for what they do with their younger riders.
  24. And how many Robert Lambert`s are there out there. Many tracks now run junior teams, and all of those deserve full credit for playing their part in trying to get young British riders on the road to hopefully a glittering career.
