  1. Come on Ipswich, one race to go, do the decent thing.
  2. Possibly though as the interview was all about his roll as SGP race director I think he would be talking about SGP matters.
  3. These are the details of tonight's meeting taken from the Berwick site, please note earlier start time than normal. http://www.berwickbandits.co/news/starza-2018-and-british-youth-finals-berwick
  4. Well I`ll be, an away win at Edinburgh, one of the wonders of the World.
  5. Should've stuck with Jye Etheridge as I dont see any improvement with Riss.
  6. Certainly knew his stuff and I found some of his posts interesting, but he is where he is for a reason and all of his own doing.
  7. Late change https://ipswichwitches.co/riss-returns-to-germany/
  8. Creditable performance from Berwick but that's about that in terms of making the play offs
  9. Big if, but if Berwick have any ambitions of reaching and holding onto a play off place then this must be a full points away win, possible especially with a weakened home team but not very probable I`m afraid.
  10. Right now this is possibly the worst GP ever, only broken chains for Cook and Janowski has lead to any passing. Maybe we should be keeping Gorzow on the GP calendar instead of Krsko.
  11. No problem with the tape rule as it is now, though I take your point regarding semi finals and finals. On another point how about teams showing up with the correct number of riders i.e three. I enjoyed the SoN but teams with no Under-21 reserve was a big let down to the competition.
  12. Rain it is. Gutted for Zagar to miss his home SGP especially with the form he has showing, bit set back in his fight for a top eight place.
  13. And I dont agree with any of them, Berwick were indeed winning at the time the meeting was abandoned, that`s a million miles away from a guaranteed win. Where I do agree though is why the meeting was in this position in the first place. We`ve just about had the warmest, driest summers ever so just how any club cant get their meetings run by the cut off date is beyond me. Getting an easy to follow, coherent fixture list that actually means something has to be a must for next season.
  14. Sorry but if this was a Premiership play off meeting this forum would go into melt down, two hours gone and we still haven't had all 15 heats and the majority of the meeting going with a green light start.
  15. Mixed night for our top two in the Championship Riders Final, Aaron Summers finished with a creditable 8pts and just missed out on the semi final where Kevin Doolan finished well down the field with only 3pts.
  16. Very much job done for Stal Gorzow, though you have to feel for the home side losing Zagar.
  17. Berwick have done well to stay in the play off places this long, but it was only going to be a matter of time before others started to over come the gap. Now for Berwick to get back into play off contention they will need to win at the very least one of the remaining three away meetings at Ipswich, Edinburgh or Peterborough. Sadly something IMO that is beyond Berwick.
