Certainly did, though for sheer entertainment should he sign for Eastbourne, which wont happen, the away meeting at Berwick would be worth the admission.
-
Drip feed of information happens everywhere , just look at the build up of teams so far. For example Ipswich have yet to name a single rider but Chris Louis has confirmed he has actually signed four riders.
-
I`d be surprised if NB Jacobsen wasnt confirmed quite soon for return to Berwick in 2019, just a guess though. On a different subject how encouraging is it to see the continuing improvement in Ricky Ashworth. Possible para Olympian.

Workington have announced the signing of Tero Aarnio.
-
That wouldn't/couldn't happen though.............oh.
-
Arent you reading into this things that just are not there, seemed a simple enough question to me.
-
No, IMO £15 is more than enough to pay to watch speedway. We can argue about the value for money that gets you but £15 is about right and £20 to much, though rather famously there is one of us who would be more than willing to pay £20.

Good signing, well done Workington

Stoke start their team off with Tom Perry

Still many places to be filled in other teams but I dont imagine there will be any stronger top fives than Somerset`s, though they do look very weak at reserve, maybe Rowe and Atkin will do a job at home but will struggle away.

Thats always been the problem for me about season tickets, if you miss a meeting or two your out of pocket. I think I`m right in saying season tickets only covered league meetings, maybe if it covered all Berwick meeting that would entice more customers. Obviously not BSPA shared events or meetings like that but if Berwick are racing as a team I dont see why that shouldnt be covered by a season ticket.

There`s a fans forum a week on Sunday, I`d be amazed if there weren't a signing or two, or three, announced then, maybe sooner.

2019 Championship Confirmed Signings

Looks like you can add Birmingham to the Championship -
Neil used to work as an electrician with my brother a few years ago, while I worked with Neil`s dad Ian, in fact Ian is still kit man with Berwick Rangers.

I think the point Laura was trying to make is she had just sat round the AGM table where all clubs were agreed the importance of cost cutting, now it appears clubs are throwing money at the riders. No problem for me as there has always been the have and the have nots, and Workington proved to be the best out there last season so they have proved to others it can be done on limited budgets.

Yes that may be very true though the current situation sees many people who would normally follow Rye House or Lakeside not able to attend speedway, possibly lost to the sport forever, the BSPA have just an AGM that is meant to lay the foundations for the future. Compromise ?
-
If there is a track available at Rye House, which it seems it is, and there is a promotion able to run speedway there and there seems there is, would you not think it would be in the interests of everyone to put one with the other and keep speedway going, irrespective of the arguments between the former Rye House promotion and the BSPA

At the end of last season it was clear Berwick and Gappmaier were going separate ways, now with the points reduced to 38 that could bring Danny back into the picture.

Championship race nights?

Sheffield confirm a 4pm start to their meetings http://www.sheffield-speedway.com/news.php?extend.2641 -
Can we keep this serious guys, I think we all know Mark Courtney is going to Glasgow.
-
Maybe but the Championship should be easier picking next season.
-
Bit daft from Gary May to come out and describe the way he lost out on Wright as ludicrous as I`m sure somewhere down the line he will have signed a rider right from under the nose of another, it happens. Cant blame Charles wright either, he got a deal from Somerset, then got a better deal from some other team. Time for somerset, May and Wright to move on.
-
Chris Harris will be a decent signing and a heavy scorer at Championship level, lets just hope he can make ends meet.

And a first for this poster.
