  1. The ACU have issued guidelines on what is permitted, so Sundays grasstrack os running
  2. The information on the facebook page is, the land that the new stadium is on has been sold, so it needed to be moved.
  3. More unpaid, unbiased club volunteers, or real paid licenced officials the promoters need to pay. no chance of either
  4. In 2019 the Isle of Wight speedway club ran a two valve challenge meeting, using laydown two valve Jawas
  5. The cylinder head is a different shape due to the valves being larger. There are both laydown and upright engines, using the same crank cases as the four valve Jawa version. One of the two valve iceracing engines was being used in an upright grasstrack class quite recently. The laydown engines are not as popular in iceracing, but they will fit directly into the frames that are currently used in speedway
  6. 2 valve Jawas are used in ice racing, so they do exist
  7. Sensible ride by Zmarzlik in the final to extend his Championship lead.
  8. Hard to tell now, who is not trying and who is fixing their averages I guess.
  9. There have been cases where a rider has been excluded by the referee for not making an attempt to race.
  10. Something must of changed, Dan Bewley rode in the French league on the 19th of February.
  11. Is this the same Wolves and CVS that was widely quoted as saying they wouldn't compete in a six team league. Yet here we are again same old same old
  12. IF this is correct why hasn't it been disclosed, why keep it secret
  13. I'm more confused after reading this thread than I was before
  14. I would be more worried about Birmingham, if they close, hopefully they won't, which of the premier clubs will jump first to take their spot
  15. A bigger league will only benefit 5 promoters of which he is one. Self-interest above everything, it is why speedway is where it is.
  16. Oxford would be better off following the isle of Wight style of meetings, it has to be better than the BSPL
  17. Bewley not really doing himself any favours tonight at Sheffield, three last places.
  18. Not been much in the way of quality to beat. A comparison of Lambert and Bewley on Polish form would be better. Plus home track knowledge will count for nothing, once fireman Phil has had his hands on the track
