  1. Both Lambert and Fricke failed to make the GP challenge final, are you sure the 15 GP 'stars' really are the best out there. The GP challenge is a race point based, one off meeting. The also rans in the GPs stay there because they score enough over 10 rounds to make the top 12, which always get the wild card picks. Unless they are Polish.
  2. So, unless the two Russians are included, we will have 11 of the current 15 reinstated into the 2024 GP series, two of which could be riders not good enough to qualify. What message does that send to riders who qualify for the GP challenge final but finish outside the top 3. Is it any wonder why the GP has become so dull, same old same old, yawn
  3. When you consider both Lambert and Fricke have already been eliminated, there clearly are riders who will make the series better
  4. Hopefully avoiding the expensive ACU licence fees as well.
  5. Makes you realise how desperate Belle Vue are, to buy the league using Lambert
  6. Peterborough are going Championship, belle vue paid for the use of lambert by letting Kurtz ride for Leicester, sorted
  7. So now everyone knows what belle vue paid to circumvent the rules
  8. The only thing to learn from this, is the 'team' spirit at belle vue must be bad if Lemon doesnt believe his six and Klint can beat Ipswich
  9. How delusional, hiring a lawyer to win a league with no value
  10. I thought that was originally why the rule was brought in, never mind another reason to not go for some.
  11. Why would Basso choose Danmark and the Premiership, the Championship offers more rides, more variety of tracks and only 5 riders are missing. No brainer to go for the better earnings
  12. The ACU have issued guidelines on what is permitted, so Sundays grasstrack os running
  13. The information on the facebook page is, the land that the new stadium is on has been sold, so it needed to be moved.
  14. More unpaid, unbiased club volunteers, or real paid licenced officials the promoters need to pay. no chance of either
  15. In 2019 the Isle of Wight speedway club ran a two valve challenge meeting, using laydown two valve Jawas
  16. The cylinder head is a different shape due to the valves being larger. There are both laydown and upright engines, using the same crank cases as the four valve Jawa version. One of the two valve iceracing engines was being used in an upright grasstrack class quite recently. The laydown engines are not as popular in iceracing, but they will fit directly into the frames that are currently used in speedway
  17. 2 valve Jawas are used in ice racing, so they do exist
  18. Sensible ride by Zmarzlik in the final to extend his Championship lead.
  19. Hard to tell now, who is not trying and who is fixing their averages I guess.
  20. There have been cases where a rider has been excluded by the referee for not making an attempt to race.
