  1. Speedway in the UK would finish without the goodwill shown by the spares suppliers and unpaid volunteers. The sport has not evolved, riders not paid by clubs/ sponsors don't pay their bills. Promoter's run their clubs like used car dealers hoping for better sales next week to pay last week's bills. The whole of speedway's "food chain" is living on scraps. The sooner it becomes a honest amateur entertainment which is its real level the better. It started as a circus act and the clowns are running the show.
  2. INCOGNITO the Swindon Robins were relegated at the end of the 1992 season.
  3. Nobody wants to pay for the poor product speedway has become
  4. It appears there will be a change in the GP line up. Stefan Pletschacher has withdrawn because of an injury recieved in Steingaden on Sunday. His place will be taken by Harald Simon

  8. Last season Belle Vue had both, a top 4 team and the 'best' track in the UK, but still not enough supporters came to pay the riders

  12. Nice to see a British representative on the podium.
  13. You can buy nitro/methanol ready mixed at any model aircraft store. http://www.modelairplanenews.com/blog/2013/05/14/what-fuel-is-best-for-your-engine/ The improvement in speedway is the acceleration from a start, the most common way to use it was in a sponge inside the slide of the carburetor. Provided you don`t over rev the bike prior to the start, the throttle opening on the line squeezes the nitro mix into the carb. there is no residue in the tank to be detected
  14. Plus they would of sold the parts and engines they took with them. So not just a free holiday some profit as well.
  15. You'll have what BSI gives you, as long as people keep paying they'll keep taking the p!&&
  16. What false premise would that be, If the test was in accordance with protocol, which your post on 14th sept suggests it was, then the FIM are correct with their suspension. Ward would haved signed a contract to ride in the SGP, in which he agreed to adhere to the FIM's sporting code. By turning up to ride in a SGP with alcohol in his system, he is breaking his contract as this is against the sporting code
  17. Until the rules were changed to suit the "face fits" riders the switch was legal.
  18. Smolinski won a GP this season, which kept Harris in it for years, but as PHILIPRISING stated bums on seats is all the GP`s are about
  19. If BSI sufer a finanical loss the thing to do is sue Ward, as he is the cause.
  20. But its perfect for Toruns GP, this makes WWE look like a sporting contest.
  21. It was the same day as the Russian U21 team rode in their qualification round in Motala, which reduced the federations choices.
