Wolves will be ecstatic. That's 2 home wins in a row that they actually didn't win that they won !

So I take it from that , that it is  possible to win the Premier League without winning a single meeting all season .

Plus you have to love the table ,  you have to be a genius to understand it !

If you need to be a genius to understand it, just imagine how hard it was to produce a 'user friendly' Spreadsheet for it!:D

Wayne Jarvis by his decision to exclude NKI delayed the meeting even more and made heat 15 a virtual non event bearing in mind FRICKE was unbeaten and Lawson had only been beaten once by NKI.

Common sense should have been applied, supporters go to watch speedway not referees making poor decisions

The overall consensus of opinion seems to differ from yours. Iversen only just beat the two minutes exclusion, and then proceeded to ignore the Referee and Start Marshall prompts to be ready to race.

How long should he have been given? Another minute..two minutes...?

  4. Playing Devil's Advocate here.

In my working career I was trained by Rolls Royce (a GREAT company to work for BTW) as an apprentice and paid a wage whilst doing so.

    Similar to a NL rider.

At the end of my apprenticeship, I was taken on as a full time machinist and paid a great deal more than my apprenticeship wage.

Similar to NL rider progressing to be a CL and/or PL rider.

If another company offered me, (now with a young family to support), a vastly increased wage to induce me to leave RR would I have changed jobs?  Of course I would.

    Wouldn't you?

That feels like a very annoying way to calculate it... Particularly if you're wanting to keep track of it by a spreadsheet... Do the people who make the rules just make it as difficult as possible for the people who keep track of these things or what!

It's quite easy to keep track of it via a Spreadsheet.... trust me!:D

You can even get a copy of a similar Spreadsheet to the one the BSPA use from www.kandysoft.com.

I feel sorry for the two ladies who gave it their full commitment. Poor show from the SCB for not getting a larger field, yes there are more lady riders out there, and putting a GP experienced rider in this ‘field’ was a joke.

There were 4 ladies scheduled for both the Edinburgh (3rd June) and Workington (4th June) meetings.

Is it just me or do other fans have same gripe?

This flipping eternal digging by riders at start. It's mind blowing

I watched highlights of Leicester and Sheffield and imagine same at other meetings   it takes an age to get them settled at start with boot digging and scuffing

Easy answer  Ban it or exclude under 2 minutes   be same for all riders if they just stopped it

The same has been said by many people, many times! The two minutes rule as per FIM should have been adopted years ago. Not ready to race as the clock ticks down to zero...excluded!

    10 on a rolling basis

It's actually reverted back to 20 for this year. Most riders started with their last 10 from 2022 in their Rolling Average.

Riders like Schlein for example, who didn't compete in 2022, have their previous season 20 meeting Rolling Average stats in their starting average this year.

Surely Edwards held on for 3rd in heat 12. Don't know why BSN can't show a different camera angle from the camera just past the finish line.

Who's Middlo wanting excluded from heat 13? Cannot have all four back on third bend, so one of the Poole riders has to go.

Looking at the replay Edwards was guilty of rolling off the throttle just before the finish line. :nono:

Personally I think Zmarzlik was at fault

However it’s funny reading old man Middlo who believes the referee cost Jack Holder??

Obviously the Poole boss doesn’t know the rules that no race can be awarded at GP level….. o don’t agree with the rule but surely Muddlo should know it

Unfortunate for Holder ….. but someone had to be excluded so to see Muddlo get his knickers in a twist over the decision costing Holder is hilarious

    10.19 Finish of a heat
The finish of a heat shall occur in the case of any of the following circumstances.
    a) when the front part of the front wheel of the motorcycle (whilst attached to the machine) passes over the finishing line after completing the appropriate number of laps provided the competitor is in contact with his motorcycle.
    b) when the referee has awarded the heat as provided for in these regulations.
    c) if the referee has cause to stop a heat after the leading rider has passed the start/finish line to commence the last lap, the referee has the sole discretion to award the heat based upon the positions of the competitors at the time the heat was caused to be stopped.
The disqualified rider will be awarded no points and any competitors behind the disqualified riders will advance one place.

    d) where racing incidents etc. have reduced the riders available to take part in the rerun of any heat to a single competitor, the referee may award the appropriate number of points to the remaining competitor without the need for a further rerun.
