  1. A Reserve replacing an injured TR rider 'inherits' the TR role in that race. ATB Dave
  2. Last season (when there were two Tactical Rides per side in a meeting) a Reserve could theoretically have scored 27 points! 4 programmed Race wins. 1 win as a Replacement for any rider. 2 x Tactical Ride wins. (Replacing two Tactical Riders who both happened to be Fn in the first running of their TR race) Now the maximum he can score is 24. ATB Dave
  3. 4.63. M 28, R 121, P 158. ATB Dave
  4. The Coventry Individual stats are available from:- http://www.kandysoft.com/stats2.html
  5. ....No matter which team the winner came from..... Now that would certainly spice things up! ATB Dave
  6. MEETING POSTPONED. Restaging Friday. Presumably takes precedence over Devon v Storm. ATB Dave
  7. I should think it will also be a major subject in Monday night's annual 'Tapes Up Forum' on CWR. 6:00 pm to 7:00. You will be able to 'Listen Live' and also contribute via text questions to the panel which includes Mick Horton & Laurence Rogers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbccoventryandwarwickshire ATB Dave
  8. The YELLOW (Nathan Greaves) exclusion light definitely came on during the race although I cannot say for sure at what stage the race was actually stopped. ATB Dave
  9. A number of the clubs do keep their own records, using the same KanDysoft Spreadsheet as the BSPA. ATB Dave
  10. Coventry Press Release: COVENTRY are pleased to announce they will honour Birmingham Speedway season tickets for the remainder of the regular Elite League season. The Perry Barr club has regrettably closed for 2014 after attempts to ensure they could continue racing proved unsuccessful, and Coventry wish to give the loyal Brummies fans at least some consolation and value for their financial outlay over the winter. The Buildbase Bees have nine home fixtures remaining, and Brummies season ticket holders will be welcomed with free admission for those meetings. Our next Elite League meeting is this Friday (July 18) against Belle Vue. Match programmes (and admission to play-off meetings if appropriate) will be chargeable at the usual prices. To take advantage of this offer, please send an e-mail to info@coventrybees.co with your name, address, category of season ticket and your season ticket number. These details will be collated and a list placed at the Bees’ usual season-ticket entrance so that your name can be ticked off when you arrive at Brandon.
  11. Hey! If you are going to slag something off, as being bloody garbage, at least have the courtesy to spell it right! ATB Dave
  12. THERE will be another hour of speedway chat on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire this Monday at 6pm. Broken collarbone victim Oliver Greenwood will be in the studio to talk about his season so far and give an update on his injury. In addition, there are interviews with Ryan Fisher and Kenneth Hansen after Friday's meeting, Phil Morris discusses the World Under-21 Team Cup and Peter York reflects on his most memorable meeting. Tune in on 94.8, 103.7 and 104FM or on bbc.co.uk/Coventry. If you contact CWR, hopefully Wayne will be able to publicise the event. ATB Dave
  13. From Bees Website:- COVENTRY supporters are advised to tune in to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire this evening at around 6.30pm. Buildbase Bees promoter Mick Horton will be live on Phil Upton's show with some exciting news, and full details will also follow on the website. You can listen on 94.8, 103.7 and 104FM, or on bbc.co.uk/Coventry. ATB Dave
  14. I believe that in these instances a Promoter can chose which rider is nominated as the higher if it affects Heat Leader or Reserve positions. Once the choice is made, it cannot be changed. ATB Dave
  15. Now that's what I call a great idea! Shouldn't think the gates would be too much of a problem as the three remaining riders would have a 'staggered' start with more room to manoeuvre. ATB Dave
  16. The key now is the fact that the Cut-Off date has been passed. Hansen's 23rd May Average is 5.75. Fisher's is 5.42. Too late to bring in Kenni without making other changes too. ATB Dave
  17. My apologies if I am wrong, but I thought the Top 5 averages (for Team Building) were limited to 32 points? At 23rd May cut-off date, Coventry's total is 30.73.
  18. But Larsen is 7.26, Coventry do not have two points spare for team building. ATB Dave
  19. Unless you brought Kenni (7.26) in as straight swap for Hans, who are the TWO riders you would drop to bring Kenni + AN Other? ATB Dave
  20. To get round a ban, would riders only need to ask the DMU etc. to 'order' them to take part? ATB Dave PS. Typo on your innovative EL Scorecard..... Sub(s)titute above Heat 9.
  21. More like the other way round! The actual template we now use can cope with any number & combination of matches. ATB Dave
  22. 28 for Elite League (even though there are 36 League Matches) 24 for PL (Includes League Cup this year) ATB Dave
