  1. I've just arrived from Wroclaw. Another extremely boooooooring GP I have seen there (and I've been on 6 of 9 GP's there, plus one-day final in 1992). The contract between Wroclaw's GP promoters and BSI is ending this year, and I hope that some other cities will have their chance now (my type is Czestochowa, with a beautiful renovated and capacity stadium)
  2. He had some problems even before this final crash: he hitted the fence 3 times (!) in this unlucky heat, and finally this 4th hit was the worst and he fell.
  3. Tarnow-Wroclaw: Heat 10: http://roberto.easyisp.pl/bieg10.avi Heat 12: http://roberto.easyisp.pl/bieg12.avi (M.Rempala, Jamrozy, Kolodziej, Crump)
  4. Tarnow-Czestochowa: Heat 4: http://www.zmiasta.pl/images/materials/spo...4.3.05.06.w.wmv Heat 6: http://www.zmiasta.pl/images/materials/spo...6.3.05.06.w.wmv
  5. That kind of surface hasn't been seen at Wroclaw since 1999
  6. 1 Leigh Adams (3) 2 Bjarne Pedersen (6) 3 Antonio Lindback (10) 4 Jason Crump (2) 5 Andreas Jonsson (8) 6 Scott Nicholls (9) 7 Greg Hancock (5) 8 Tomasz Gollob (7) 9 Jaroslaw Hampel (11) 10 Matej Zagar (13) 11 Tony Rickardsson (1) 12 Nicki Pedersen (4) 13 Krzysztof Kasprzak (16) 14 Piotr Protasiewicz (14) 15 Niels Kristian Iversen (15) 16 Lee Richardson (12) All further details here: http://www.pzm.pl/pdf/Press%20Release%20II%20Wroclaw.pdf

  8. Looks like there was no fainting. He just felt pain in his foot after his last heat, and he's been afraid that it's been broken once again (it was broken last season), so he wanted to go to the hospital.
  9. Once again I ask: what the hell has UK to do with that ? Isn't GP of Wroclaw placed in Poland ? And have you looked at their form in our league ?
  10. Damn, when they have relocated Wroclaw's track and replaced it with a british one ?
  11. I don't think it's the matter of permanent not giving any chance for Jano. I even don't think it's the matter of Jano at all. It's just that KK was given a chance far more than he deserved: SWC 2004, SWC 2005, GP of Wroclaw 2005 - none of them he succeded. And now he's given another chance again, while his form at polish tracks is for sure not at the top level. Time to wake up I think; there will be no more 2-euro coin toss in the senior speedway... And all of this conceited interviews after this year's E-league meetings, or before last year's GP of Wroclaw. Im just fed up with this guy.
  12. And now it's official: Krzysztof "I'm the best rider ever" Kasprzak to go with Wild Card, Kolodziej no. 17. and Gapinski no. 18...
  13. They are almost confirmed as loan riders. Formally there's still only Jablonski as a Gdansk rider, but this is just a matter of days/hours to change. Unfortunately Dzik ended yesterday's training (mentioned in this SF article) with a broken wrist
  14. G.Rempala is still recovering after last year's bruise and is expected to be back on the track not sooner than in may, and Dzik is finishing his contract talks with Gdansk; put Zielinski instead of him. After first rides last weekend there is also much more possible that Dryml will ride instead of Burza. On the other side there are: Adams, Loram, Miskowiak, perfect home-track rider Balinski, recovered and surprisingly very well riding in pre-season meetings Dobrucki, and of course K.Kasprzak. Moreover Leszno has been riding and training since a few weeks (plus Adams, Loram, Miskowiak and Kasprzak riding in EL) while Tarnow has had just one pre-season meeting so far (plus JK and TR riding in EL). So it's gonna be tough for Tarnow.
  15. There has just been a press conference and the promoters of Wroclaw's GP have announced that their official candidate of Wild Card rider is Krzysztof Kasprzak. There are also two other candidates if Kasprzak won't be approved by FIM/BSI: Tomasz Gapinski and Janusz Kolodziej.
  16. Well, ther's always Tarnow in the neighbourhood. There are Tarnow-Wroclaw and Tarnow-Czestochowa E-league meetings planned on the 30th of April and 3rd of May as I remember.

  18. Gdansk not granted an E-league license !! which means that they're not permitted to ride in E-league and riders are free to sign new contract with anther club. GKSZ is going to invite 1st div clubs to replace Gdansk: 1) ZKZ Zielona Gora 2) KM Ostrow 3) RKM Rybnik 4) Stal Gorzow EXACTLY in that order, but there are still E-league license requirements for them to fulfill. If no one is interested there's going to be 7-teams E-league.
  19. Well, let's take a look at today's extremely interesting press conference with Czestochowa team directors (my, not perfect, translation of the news placed at official site): Today, during a press conference at The Dolcan Hotel, the CKM management refuted Holta's pleas announced by Rune last time. This meeting has been postponed a few times becouse banks needed some time to collect all of required documents confirmating account transfers (which costed the club about 850 PLN). At the very beggining of this meeting, the director of a club - Marian Maslanka - strongly accented that having the club's ant the rider's welfare in his mind he had never mentioned to announce all of the contract details to the public. However, disreputing the club pushed him to prove it's guiltlessness. All of gathered journalists had a chance to take a look at documents proving that all transfers to Holta's account took place punctual, in time. Holta earned the amount of 156 080 Euro in total (all 2005 season), not including all travels from airport (about 15 000 PLN) and all hotel accomodations (8 000 PLN). 3/4 of that sum he was paid during a season, and 1/4 of it was planned to pay after season. Last installment (10 000 Euro) was transfered to the Holta's account a few days before appointment at 13th of december. On that day Holta was shown the document confirming money transfer and he signed an affirmation of having all of required money, which was sent to The Polish Automobile & Motorcycle Federation. Suddenly/surprisingly all money that club had sent returned. Club efforted to send it again 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of december (all of this is confirmed by bank documents) but money returned every time, again and again. Finally it turned out that all problems was caused by Holta's problems with bank account (some matters with taxes that Holta didn't settle due to lack of time). Holta was also the only one in CKM team who did not give up on 'start guarantee' (money paid no matter if the meeting/match takes place or not) paid for the Czestochowa - Zielona Gora meeting cancelled due to John Paul II death. Rune wanted 8 900 PLN for riding in Idzikowski & Czerny Memorial, while total meeting income was 17 940 PLN. Another matter pointed by CKM direcotrs was Holta claim: “there’s 20 000 spectators around the stadium and the club has no money to pay riders”. To prove it’s wrong directors presented the exact calculations: average 7 656 spectators at one match, total tickets income 1 229 556 PLN (whole season), and 1 621 496 PLN including season tickets. So it turnes out that only one rider (Holta) costed more than 40% of that amount. Marian Maslanka told also about all appointments taking place 5th of october, 5th of november, 23rd of december and during christmas. There were 5 of this appointments, and some CKM directors were involved (Jacek Orlikowski, Ryszard Bozek, Lech Malagowski) Rune wanted 64% more money than in 2005 season and been told it’s impossible. After that there were 2 more appointments including senator Lasecki with brother who tried to make some agreement with Rune and decrease his demands, but Holta claimed that he was offered that 64% more money by 2 other clubs. After an appointment at 29th of december it seemed they had finally made an agreement but a few hours later Rune called and informed that he’s not interested. “Calculating all of conditions offered to Rune I think it was a very good offer. I’m really sorry that he’s out of Czestochowa becouse he’s a quality and spectacular rider. He seemed to be also very nice during our appointments. It’s a pity that it was just a waste of time. I’m suprised with his accusations during last press conference when he wasn’t as nice as earlier.” Press conference was ended with the club’s director: “ I hope it’s not our last conference that type. We wanted to create a new tradition of saying ‘good-bye’ to riders, unfortunatelly it went totally wrong and the club was disreputed. It’s our final reply on accusations. I think we’ve defended our version of events. All of this 7 years of Holta riding in Czestochowa has left a plenty of happy moments thanks to his riding. Let’s hope these will be the only ones to remember”. www.ckmwlokniarz.pl
  20. And "the smell of sh*t" was the reason why Drabik didn't want to pass Ulamek on track and prefered to stay behind him, at some meeting some time ago. Oh, what a nice Ulamek Tribute Thread we have
  21. Rune is not the first one fed up with Ulamek. I've heard once that there's kind of a nickname for Ulamek among some other polish riders; sympathetic pig (sympathetic meaning; nice, friendly, kind).
  22. Not so many details, I would say. Are these "threats and unserious postings" at his guestbook the only life threats ? Are 15-years old internet users so serious problem ?
  23. Unofficial: Nicholls to Tarnow and Loram to Leszno. There's also Czestochowa with Ulamek, Drabik, Hafenbrock, Hancock, Richardson, Sullivan and probably Holta. And it's "Rzeszow". P.S. Loram to Leszno is now official
  24. I may be wrong but as far as I know Scott is willing to ride only in a limited amount of Eleague meetings, no matter of the club he'll sign for. Considering last two seasons it's almost 100% sure that Tony is going to pass some polish meetings just to have, let's say, short vacation, so there's some room for Scott. There is also probability that 2 GP riders rule will not stay. After all, it's still just a proposal and the final official regulations have not been released yet. P.S. There's some Leszno interest in Scott.
  25. It's going to be 8-man teams season, but no.8 has to be under 23. Nope Lukas looks like "just-in-case" man and Scott would be some kind of a replacement for Tony. Signing with Scott is said to be close, but still unsure...
