  1. Just to keep my video collection perfectly organized Bavarian, many many thanks !!!
  2. Can anyone tell me when exactly did this match take place: http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/8479/im...2239cvbs5hx.jpg http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/2829/im...239cvbs14hz.jpg ?? I only know that it was 1991, and it was 12 round of Elitserien, and the other results of that round were: http://img476.imageshack.us/img476/3549/im...239cvbs29zc.jpg
  3. Any U-23 rider can be #8 If #8 is U-21 he can replace any rider, if he's 22 or 23 he can replace only #1-5 riders. Limitations are the same as for the #1-5 riders (maximum 5 rides as a reserve + 1 ride as a tactical reserve + 1 ride as a raider replacement reserve).
  4. Qualified riders (this is official): Tarnow - 8.07.2006 6. Janusz Kolodziej 13. Wieslaw Jagus 16. Sebastian Ulamek Zarnovica - 9.07.2006 4. Piotr Protasiewicz 15. Robert Kosciecha
  5. Well Mr Snackette, I really hope you've enjoyed tonight's thriller
  6. Don't trust the website counter "tarnów - toruń 15 czerwca 2006, 19:00"
  7. Becouse there are always two sides needed to make a deal, and Holta was the one talking (at the beggining) a lot of crap about beeing connected with Poland, etc. Oh no, he doesn't revert now, becouse he has never forgotten abut beeing Norwegian. Let me just quote Holta's interview about 2 years ago: "I really hope that my riding will bring a lot of splendour for Norway". And where are all of his health problems (he was even supposed to be hospitalized), while he was riding yesterday in Lotos Cup in Gdansk ?
  8. Holta beeing... I'd better will not end this sentence... Let me just translate yeterday's program of the meeting: Robert Gesiarz - the manager of Rune Holta - claims, that Rune is not going to go after his place in qualifications as a Pole. He's going to ride as a Norwegian I've been always saying that his Polish citizenship is just a crap, made only for money (he was able to ride as a Pole when foreigners were limited in our league).
  9. Gollob declined the invite to the GP qualifiers even before Golden Helmet. He signed the documents and was riding only for himself, and for Golden Helmet of course. Qualified riders are: Ulamek, Protasiewicz, Jagus, Kosciecha. 5th rider will be decided by GKSZ and unofficial news is, that this rider is Kolodziej.
  10. Lineup: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/?dysc_id=4&k1_...&news_id=127921 Gollob is in. Originally he resigned but it is said that GKSZ (our version of BSPA) seriously "suggested" him to ride Golden Helmet Live: http://70.85.103.141/launch_speedway_97.html (at 19:00)
  11. And can you tell who told you that ? Fans (from Poland ?) or someone more reliable ?
  12. So far looks like the start time in Tarnow is 19:00.
  13. Rafal returned to his home a few days ago. He was considering leaving Poland to start treatment somewhere abroad, but decided to stay in Poland, with some expert from Bydgoszcz to take care about him. He's going to be cured with device called "Magstim", designed for magnetic stimulation of nerves and muscles. So far he has about 20% of the money needed for rehabilitation, and there are some bank accounts that anyone can donate money. Unfortunatelly it is said, that spinal cord is damaged, but also Rafal said that sometimes he is able to feel when doctor touches his leg with some sharp instrument, so there's still hope.
  14. The capacity was around 100.000 when it was built in 1956, and the record of 120.000 was beaten in 1963, but after radical modernization in the 90's the capacity is around 45.000-50.000. And it's Chorzow, not Katowice. Gorny Slask is a great agglomeration including over a dozen big cities, where one city border on another city. Chorzow or Katowice are one of them. As far as I know Chorzow has never hosted any league speedway. It has only hosted world championships, or various domestic individual & team meetings. Katowice hosted speedway but it was before World War II and shortly after it. The nearest cities still hosting speedway are Rybnik (1st division this season) and Swietochlowice (withdrawn from any league meetings a few years ago).
  15. Hlib isn't reaching even half of what Kolodziej or Rempala were last two years. Let's just say his average was nearly 1 point per heat (!!!) before last Sunday. Same Jacek Gollob; before last Sunday he scored 14 points... in 7 matches !! no comment. They have finally scored at Rybnik, but still Rybnik is just a 2nd division team beeing promoted to the 1st division when it was to late for any valuable signings, so 10 points in 6 heats (J.Gollob) is nothing to be proud of. Both of them have secure position in the team squad so 8-rider system has nothing to do with their poor performance. Anyway, Nicholls was the saddest surprise last Sunday, and the sensational & shameful defeat became a fact...
  16. 5,63 per what ? After yesterday's meeting there's: 32 points (37 with bonuses) in 15 heats. I would rather say his CMA is (37:15)*4=9,87. What am I missing ?
  17. It's hard to say anything 100% reliable right now. There was a surgery last friday (at Tarnow's hospital) but Rafal doesn't want to say anything publicly, so we don't know anything (and by "we" I mean suppporters, media, etc.)
  18. Where can I find current averages ? I've found some here: http://www.speedway.nu/2006/snitt.htm but, for example, still I can't understand why Kolodziej's average is 5,05 or 5,37 while Rempala's average is 6,10 or 5,88 (both Rospiggarna). Janusz has 20 points (24 with bonuses) in 10 heats and Rempala only 9 points in 9 heats.
  19. I've just found sth in here: http://www.slospeedway.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11099#11099
  20. Hlib is already in Gorican. Nothing is broken so he should be ok.
  21. So far we can only assume that the start time in Tarnow will be in the evening (around 19.00), and in Rzeszow in the afternoon (they have some problems with the illuminating system)
  22. Some special pictures from Wroclaw: http://www.dominet.pl/news/lst-news-114.html
  23. It's not a matter of Ole Olsen or Grand Prix. Meetings in Wroclaw are always as boring as tonight.
