Saying more poetical - we're only experts on women's beauty, aren't we Rico?

Really - you're the best proof of it

I live in a country of a high level of unemployment, corruption, rubbishy roads etc. but also the best spedway fans, beautiful girls and relatively cheap beer - no need to complain then.. Which picture do you mean?

At last mate! I've already got the best picture of that trip but looks like I'll order some other too..

Bydgoszcz 2005 - A Ringside Perspective
Mateusz replied to Papa Bazarou's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I have really enjoyed reading your story, looking forward to the rest LOL... Just like our trips to Wroclaw to GPs or SWC... Always only 5 carriages and something like the whole city going don't know where The Wroclaw's variant! I can only admit that his German is much better than mine I always behave! (remember that Kitten) After all those beers you had bought me, it was my moral obligation to save for you the best possible seats. -
Ok, some Bydgoszcz climates now Bydgoszcz v Torun - picture 1 - picture 2 - picture 3 - picture 4 we in Torun - picture 5 - picture 6 our flag - picture 7 - picture 8 Bydgoszcz v Zielona Gora - picture 9 And my favourite taken by me picture ever... Bydgoszcz v Wroclaw 29.09.2002 - the night when Bydgoszcz got the Championship title - picture 10 - the plane I must say I've never seen anything like that before - a great idea I think. "Tylko Falubaz" means "Only Falubaz". Falubaz is an old name of ZKZ Zielona Gora. This plane was flying around the Leszno stadium during the match Leszno v Czestochowa

Because speedway here is more than just speedway... Well, at least in some cities (like Zielona Gora, Bydgoszcz, Torun etc.) where it has always been a religion and a way of showing a domination over other cities just a Polish hell as we say I cannot disagree with that Kitten has made a topic to show off the power of ZKZ fans but it hasn't scared me and soon I'll put some pics of Bydgoszcz guys in action

Bydgoszcz 2005 - A Ringside Perspective

Great pics Papa I hope you'll upload the rest soon If HenryW doesn't want you to do that, send me those pics as there's nothing to hide (maybe only from a public eye) - I've already seen those lovely pics with kamikaze drinks and must have them Here are some of my & Bydgoszcz mates' pics. Nothing special but some are nice. http://community.webshots.com/user/mateusz_bydgoszcz Lawrence should upload his photos soon - he worked for BSI with air fences etc. and took lots of nice pics in the pits. -

Could Have Been So Much Better!
Mateusz replied to Trees's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Very good, believe me. But of course not everywhere - depends on how they prepare a track. For example - this year's match Bydgoszcz v Leszno was in opinion of many an essential of speedway. The track was perfect to fight and such riders like Adams and PePe could fully make use of it If you haven't seen any any Polish league speedway and would like to - just send me a pm and maybe I can help you -
I hope Poland will get 2 nominations - for Hampel (if he doesn't finish in the top 8) and PePe.

Maybe I'm blinded by Gollob's great 4th in a row victory but I think it was not a boring GP. We have here many times more interesting league matches but this year's GP was much better that last year's one, however not as good the GP in 2003. There were some nice overtakes and fight. Well, going to a tournanment called Speedway Grand Prix I didn't expect lots of remarkable attacks etc. Just a great international speedway holiday with Gollob flying around the fence As I've said many times before - it's all about the track which is prepaired according to Olsen's orders. -
Polish Grand Prix - Bydgoszcz
Mateusz replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
He was - especially in a Bydgoszcz Net Fans tshirt and of course Henry W too I knew Gollob was gonna win it. No suprise at all but joy as always Good job to Lee, after double zero in first heats I didn't give much chance (Kitten even called him "pierdola" - definitely not a positive name) but he luckily got into semis and then did his best in the final (couldn't do better as obviously there was only one man to win it). Oh ye, and congrats to Trick -
Polish Grand Prix - Bydgoszcz
Mateusz replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I don't see anything wrong in this as usually the track differ from that which they practiced on, e.g. one week before the GP. And who bans foreign riders to practice at their home tracks before GPs in their countries? For example Swedes to have more practice at Eskilstuna or Malilla. I'd not mind it. Well, of course I don't mean here GB or Denmark because of their make-up tracks in Cardiff and Copenhagen. Yes, sometimes it is but that's because it's all about the money. For many years (especially in Gollob's best years) Polish fans have been the main boost of money for BSI and generally GP organizers. Maybe now it has been changing a bit but still lots of white-red fans follow their riders, mainly here in Poland (Bydgoszcz and Wroclaw GPs) and at Prague GP as well. -
Polish Grand Prix - Bydgoszcz
Mateusz replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'm from Bydgoszcz and Torun have been our biggest enemy since ever. A holy war Like Liverpool FC & Man U, Zielona Gora & Leszno etc.. But I'm not one of those fanatics/hools who fight aroud the stadium and my taunts about Torun are usually only jokes I even know some normal people from Torun and plan to study in Torun -

Maybe a small flood in the south, near the border with Czech Rep. but not here. Don't worry If there was any flood by the Wisla river, the first ones to be flooded are Torun -

Tarnow - Torun 62:28 F**kers from Torun showed tonight how they are really worthy... lol Tarnow are already in the final.

A very good result for Bydgoszcz We're half in the final but obviously everything's still possible. I can't wait 4th September - counting to 48 points... PePe was absolutely superb tonight, only one missed point. Sawina very slow, not that rider who scored 15 points last time in Czestochowa. AJ a bit disappointing at the beginning but heat 15 - that was it Bydgoszcz -vs- Gollob's Tarnow in the final of 2005 Ekstraliga ?? We'll see....

Janusz Kolodziej Is Polish Champion
Mateusz replied to Subedei's topic in International World of Speedway
I supported Bydgoszcz' PePe and T.Gollob but I really like Janusz so his today's great achievement was a very nice surprise Congratulations to him! Gollob rather missed it for his own "wish" - leading all 4 laps in the heat 15 he was probably too self-confident and getting from the last curve straight to the finish line he was overtook in the outside (!) by Kolodziej! It's a very rare view to see Gollob being overtook by someone in the outside as it's usually Tomek the man near the fence. But Janusz was absolutely superb tonight (so damn fast..) and he really deserved this win. Oh, and the last heat was gonna be fascinating as after 19 heats T.Gollob had 14 points (in 5), Kolodziej 12 and J.Gollob 11 (both in 4). The line up of this heat was: J.Gollob, Ulamek, Holta and Kolodziej. If Jacek had won and Janusz had been 2nd, they all would have had 14 points (!) and the whole three (Kolodziej and Gollob bros) would have run in a bonus heat fighting for all 3 medals!... But Kolodziej won (Jacek was 2nd) and that's how it finished. It was quite moving to watch Janusz with tears in his eyes getting on to the highest place of the podium...
