Drawing at Grudziadz today Bydgoszcz have sealed the deal and qualified for the Ekstraliga already. So I'd consider this more like a friendly match but Gdansk still have something to fight for so they won't give up - may be a good meeting, but rather a teaser before Torun v Leszno. A proper speedway weekend on the agenda, anyway
Welcome to the Polish speedway. Torun don't like the track (not sure what's wrong with it, though) and the meeting's delayed till 7 pm for some track works.
Tragic news have just come from Gniezno. Arkadiusz Malinger, a 17 year old rider of the Start Gniezno speedway school, fell off his bike at today's practice. Hit by his team mate's bike, Arkadiusz' head and spike had got multiply injured. The boy died one after arriving at hospital ...
RIP
Hope Leszno v Gorzow will be better. But taking into consideration Gollob and Pedersen's performances yesterday I don't give Gorzow much chance... On the other hand, Kolodziej was utterly rubbish in Malilla too.
