as soon as Oaksey confirms them I will post the dates. The Redcar Sat 16th meeting I understand is a Conference Shield double header as far as I know against Sittingbourne and then Weymouth. No agreed date as yet for U15 round at Redcar but a date for the round at Somerset wll be announced early this week.

better tell him they will do home delivery service !!!

This date (as yet) is not confirmed as an under 15 round. There will be one new date announced early next week by Peter Oakes.

Just wondered if there was any news on Adrian's shoulder injury and whether he will be fit for the World U21 final in Italy on Sept 2nd ??

Personally some great times at Thornton Road -- John Jackson ducking under the tapes when on gate 4 , Steve Casey hitting the fence (sorry Case!!), Colin Goad's passing from the back --memories!!!

Now this is one element of the meeting that should create a LOT of interest. There are thousands of would be refs out there --now is your chance to be one for the day along side Paul Carrington. We did this last year for Shane Parker's meeting at Glasgow and the response was amazing and I expect the same again this time. The bidding got quite hot and intense and in the end we had a tied bid and the ref kindly allowed two assistants to join him on the day !!! So come on folks get your bids in to either Lyn or myself ( laurencerogers@ic24.net)

If Steve needs any more riders the young American Matt Browne is still over and looking for rides --he has ridden in the individual meetings at Sheffield and Kings Lynn as well as in the CL challenge for Somerset v Newport plus second halves at various tracks.

Best wishes to all three injured young 'uns --Brendon, Jack and Chris. The 250 tests went well and this is really the way forward for the future. It is early days as yet and there are minor problems with the carby but this is being worked on. Next two confirmed dates for the Under 15 meetings are at Plymouth on Friday July 21st and the Isle of Wight on Thursday August 17th with dates awaited for several other rounds including Redcar and Somerset.

Tried to get on the link but it said I wasn't authorised !!!

From what I was told --and was discussing with Tony Steele as we were on the same flight home --was that by the time his federation were informed of his elevation to 2nd reserve and this was passed on to him this did not leave him sufficient time to make the necessary travel arrangements and get his bikes ready etc. In the end what a pity this was as he would have ended up in the actual meeting after his Sheffield team mate Ben Wilson's unfortunate crash in practice. On another note here's one for future quiz questions --which defunct CL track who are still racing as and when they get fixtures have been involved in the last two rounds of the Under 21 Championship at Sheffield and at Pocking ?? Need to know the track, the link and the rider involved!!
