what a great afternoon's racing . Congrats to all the lads riding today and fingers crossed that Ashley Morris leg, knee and ankle are ok after his heavy crash. Well done to Josh Dingle on his win in the 500cc section and to Robert Lambert in the 250's. -

With some of the lads on both the 250's and 500's having had 2nd halves recently and a few having been at the pre-season training schools, this should be a closely contested meeting and one I am really looking forward to. -

A most enjoyable afternoon. My thanks to all the young lads for their help in getting the 22 heats through swiftly and without hold ups. Once they had got into the routine of lining up after the previous race my 'job' was made easier by this and we got things through in a good time. Congrats to each and every one of them today and I look forward to the enxt round at Newport on Saturday May 23rd --2.30 start.

Just spoken to Steve and all is about ready for the big off. I am finishing all the paperwork , making sure all my bits are done, checked and double checked then get it all in the case and get some shut eye as up at 6 am to be there by 7.30 / 8 !! We will all give a big sigh of relief when heat 21 , the Grand Final is over --it's going to be a great day!!

There is a late change to the line-up. I had an e-mail off Niels K Iversen tonight with Puk reluctantly unable to logistically make it . BUT ... Jason Doyle's Polish commitment has been called off and he asked to be put on stand-by if anyone pulled out so is now back in the line-up in place of Puk at No. 11. Puk wishes everyone all the best for the meeting and for the Wasps for 2009 and hopes to be invited to the Welsh Open on June 28th. So the revised line-up is : 1 MARK LEMON 2 CHRIS KERR 3 KEVIN DOOLAN 4 BEN BARKER 5 DAVID HOWE 6 JORDAN FRAMPTON 7 NICK SIMMONS 8 JAMES HOLDER 9 BRENT WERNER 10 NICOLAI KLINDT 11 JASON DOYLE 12 CRAIG WATSON 13 TY PROCTOR 14 MADS KORNELIUSSEN 15 EMIL KRAMER 16 KYLE NEWMAN Res : Karl Mason , Jay Pickard , Richard Andrews
