I'd be eternally grateful if you could let me have the ones relating to Canterbury frigbo. No problem Kev. Send me your E-mail address to Frigbo@aol.com and i'll send you what i've got. Noticed i omitted the fact that it's League matches only that i have details on. Hope that's still ok?

I have spreadsheets with every match and individual score (no bonus or rides though i'm afraid) from 1968-1971. 1972 is almost finished.

shut up you stay in to watch eastenders Could always come round your house for tea!!
-
Guests are an absolute farce and should be scrapped completely. I think this 'half way house' rule could create all sorts of problems. A proper squad system needs to be in place before this kind of restriction can work. Guests can then be phased out. This rule for 2004 will see teams arriving with teams filled up with makeshift riders and some proper spankings dished out as a result. And there is a time and place for proper spankings...and speedway ain't it!
-
How do i explain to new visitors (and hope to retain a modicum of credibility) that someone gets 6 in one particular race and only 3 for all their other heat wins?? This rule created false results in the KOC last year (apparently, as i boycotted it because of stupid rules!), this is going to radically affect the Bonus Point situation and in my opinion takes a huge amount of skill out of Team Managing. The only consolation is that it will save me a shed load of money during the summer because i shalln't be frequenting Blunsdon to watch It's a Knockout every Thursday!!

Jan Gravningen was a Norwegian who rode for Halifax in '73 and the Brummies for two seasons 76,77 i believe..5-6 point bloke. Oh, and he had a crackin 'tache!!
-
Just brushed the cobwebs off the old Anorak, sewed some more patches on and came up with this!! August 28th 1965 Swindon 54, Broadbank 12, Briggs 12, Ashby 9, Keen 7, Kilby 7, Sampson 6, Jackson 1. Glasgow 24, Monk 10, Scott 7, Mcmillan 3, Coombes 1, Hicks 1, Lagrosse 1, Ovenden1. Apparently it was persisting it down with rain. Right, where are those rosettes and badges??
-
Wise words mate!
-
Spot on Hagon, Rudy had barely ridden for two seasons after that real bad neck injury. In fact he never rode in England again. That '83 team was pure quality!! Other notables like Per Sorensen, Paul Bosley, Steve Bishop and Tim Hunt rode that year too. I remember we also tried to sign Berndt Odermatt that year, but a car crash put the scuppers on that, then we signed Mighty Milan Spinka instead...what a legend!!!

116 in Blue is Dave Morton i think

Brilliant, Thanks very much. Must be a classic Speedway Star mis-print then!
-
Can anyone help me please? I have hit another dead end in my aim to have a Website with all rider's in the British League Divs 1 and 2 since '65. There is a D.Walsh who rode for Glasgow at Oxford on 22nd July 1971, scoring 1 point. Can anyone shead any light on his full name and any gen about him??

I'm with you Grachan! By all means cut the number of riders to 16, there are too many no hopers in the GP's at the moment. Sort out a decent qualification system and a fairer gate selection process and Bob's ya knob.
