  1. Conversations i've had suggest otherwise, but it would be extremely disappointing if it is the case.
  2. You would have thought it wasn't too difficult to suss out wouldn't you? Whilst the licence remains with that git Russell, we aren't going to move forward. First job is to get him away from any association with Swindon Speedway and kill off the fake Swindon Motorsports sham.
  3. The penny is slowly dropping at BSPL towers...
  4. News this morning that former Sunderland, Berwick, Stoke and Oxford rider Jim Wells has passed away.
  5. Tommy Nilsson might well be another.. Or Mikael Blixt
  6. As he didn't prioritise it, Simon Wigg never reached the individual heights in speedway that his early years promised.
  7. It's a race to the bottom. Decisions made on trying to get a broader audience across Europe and not on racing ability. All the dropped riders, bar perhaps Kim Nilsson, are better than the new ones
  8. Bewley got so much to learn with regard to aggression and track positioning
  9. Just watching yesterday's cross examination of Osborne. The representatives for both the Council and SCS were terrible and missed a huge opportunity to discredit him as anything even vaguely credible! I fear the worst...
  10. Lol. "Did more of the local comminity ride around the track or watch others ride aroind the track?" Hooper: "we don't know, no evidence has been offered" The lack of spectator figures is a massive hole and gives them so much wiggle room!
  11. So it seems. The planning specialist in Swindon Motorsports 'looking' to open a new site to return the "not viable" sport of speedway to Swindon!
  12. Who is the geezer with the orange barnet that is being questioned now?
  13. More bad news this morning. Former Winbledon, Newcastle and Nelson rider Murray Burt passed away yesterday, aged 80.
  14. Sadly, news this morning that former Wolves, Swindon and Long Eaton rider James Bond passed away yesterday, aged 85.
  15. In an absolute nutshell.... Good old Terry has been ever so accommodating!
  16. 5 league meetings, 11 rides and zero points. He did score a couple in challenge matches though
