  1. What a load of claptrap, classic British mentality. We lost, end of.
  2. Norris spent half a season as a Reading rider way back in 1995, hardly likely to make much difference i'd say.
  3. Jokers and Tac Subs out, a reserve in who you can use a maximum of 4 times to replace riders. 7 man teams would never work as there isn't sufficient depth. Some teams barely score anything when picking 5 men never mind finding 7.
  4. Considering it was a major event, i have to say that both the track and stadium did little to enhance Speedway's fragile reputation.
  5. Resting Stead wasn't the issue. Picking him in the 1st place was. By not using him for his last 2 Middlo basically proved he'd made a mistake as Stead is generally poor at Reading. Also, his use of the joker beggered belief. Heat 20 was the obvious option.
  6. Jeez mate, if you thought that was dull there really is no point in you ever watching another Speedway meeting
  7. Louis for Stead. Danny Bird shouldn't be anywhere near a meeting of this stature...unless he's spannering for someone!
  8. Louis really should be an automatic pick for Reading on Thursday. Middlo went with the right team for tonight and now must swap Stead for Louis at Smallmead. Stead's form at Reading is little short of awful. And as for these ridiculous Rico bashers............
  9. Oh dear, wide angle lens required to get Carpanese in shot during his 5 races!
  10. I agree Lupus. In my opinion Adams is far and away the best TM, certainly in the EL at any rate.
  11. Looks like Sullivan and Max 10 PP, Gjedde and Kosciecha 9 Pavlic and Iversen 8 Harris 7 The rest are all pretty much goners
  12. I think leaving Louis out for Poland is fair enough, his form at Peterborough and Swindon is generally pretty pants. Different story at Reading though, i'd have him in at the expense of either Stead or Harris.
  13. Already checked it out Darc. It's Tuesday August 15th.
  14. Not seen the book, but it will be no surprise to any Swindon fans of the mid 80's to know Simmo was working his average down to go NL in '86. Biggest surprise to me is that he says only the 0 V King's Lynn was fixed. His last 6 scores were 2,2,3,3,5,0
W tutejszym szpitalu przejdzie on szczegółowe badania. Gafurov bardzo chce wspomóc swoich klubowych kolegów w walce o ligowe punkty; niestety podczas feralnego biegu zniszczeniu uległ jego najlepszy motocykl. Miejmy nadzieję, iż badania w rybnickim szpitalu wykluczą jakąkolwiek kontuzję sympatycznego żużlowca The online translation is typically sketchy, but mentions back pain and that he has travelled to Rybnik. Are any of our Polish friends able to translate please??
  16. Adams 12/1 at Corals, had a tickly twenty on that. Also had a wee charity bet on Bjarne at 33/1.
  17. I wonder if some people on here have watched any speedway this year. How the hell can anyone pick Norris??
  18. That's why i specified BL CHK, maybe i should have said BL era.
  19. Simmo's BL career was as follows: West Ham(65,66,67),KingsLynn(68,69,70,71,72,73,74,86,93),Poole(75,76,77,78,79,80),Wim bledon(81,82,83,84),Swindon(85),Hackney(86,87),ArenaEssex(89)
