Not necessarily, the point was that the rest of the Russian team were inspired by their 'star' rider. Rico is ours.
As for your other comments, you're absolutely right - let's just carry on as we are.
Where have I said Rosco should have the job?? - I've simply said Lyon shouldn't.
Mmm, I think I'm giving you too much credit by assuming you will understand the rationale behind my posts.
Please explain who our class rider is if it isn't Mr Richardson....Emiliano Sanchez?
I'm well aware he's not the KL Promoter thank you.
As you say, RL's position is very Middlo like in the fact that he should be developing ways to bring on the next generation of British riders but is more than happy to manage a team which does nothing of the sort.
If RL has any minerals he would quit KL and concentrate full time on initiating a grass roots development process for these new riders. Somehow I doubt that will happen.
Two wrongs and all that.....
Don't be obtuse.
His mantra is that young British riders should be given opportunities. Kl's policy flies in the face of that. Jan Graversen and Kozza Smith at 6 and 7 speaks volumes!
I agree with Orion here. If Mr Lyon believes his principles he would divorce himself from the team building policies of KL.
He's preaching one thing but actually practicing something completely different.
I thoroughly enjoyed that. Well played to the Russians, excellent all round display.
The amount of ability Sayfutdinov has just continues to amaze, he's mustard!
No malice in the Laguta/Pedersen incident but it does demonstrate how desperately this system needs team reserves. I would limit them to 3 rides max, use at any time.
Another garbage GP which only woke up as the track cut up. The first few heats were a major snooze.
Sayfutdinov is a major talent, how good could this kid get??. Got lucky in the final though, Pedersen's exclusion was a shocking decision.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening of entertainment.
Gutted the best British rider couldn't clinch the title, but fair play to Harris. Teddy Kenny really is blossoming nicely now and looks ready for a proper breakthrough.
Nicholls was shocking again and looks woefully short of race sharpness.
