I've never heard of a F.Reeves. As that meeting was at Boston in 1978 (Eddie rode for Boston that year), I reckon it was Eddie and the 'F' is a typing error.

Err.....it was a German League Play-Off meeting. Seems reasonable to try his injury out in a lesser meeting, the day before a play off match in the UK.

He rode in Germany on the 19th, can't find anything about any Polish meeting.

Octavio Nano should be Ottaviano Righetto (ex Eastbourne) The other Italian on the tour was called Battaglia. He didn't ride in any of the matches though.
