  1. Back Row L-R. Carter, Peter Collins, Simmons, Lee, Les Colins. Front L-R. Jessup, Morton, Davis.
  2. From the experiences of people I know, Sky's Customer Service is world class compared to Virgin's! How about being charged to re-activate a service simply because you wanted to change the name on the account from joint to single!

  4. I'm sure Rico won't be the last to walk away from Team GB.
  5. Rod, I think Blythe (like MacKay) was born in England but emigrated to Aus. I've got Chris Blythe as being born in Liverpool.

  9. I've never heard of a F.Reeves. As that meeting was at Boston in 1978 (Eddie rode for Boston that year), I reckon it was Eddie and the 'F' is a typing error.

  14. Interesting, maybe British Speedway does lead the way in some things after all??
  15. Octavio Nano should be Ottaviano Righetto (ex Eastbourne) The other Italian on the tour was called Battaglia. He didn't ride in any of the matches though.

  18. Second part of the meeting was much better, but the first hour or so was pants. I switched to Dragon's Den at one point. Well Done to Team GB.
  19. http://wwosbackup.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=mriders&thread=1868&page=1 He also rode under the pseudonym of 'Charlie Brown'
