  1. A full list of all the team changes this season are available to view as I keep the SGB Premiership, Championship and National league pages upto date on Wikipedia. SGB Premiership https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SGB_Premiership_2019 SGB Championship https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SGB_Championship_2019 National League https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_National_League_speedway_season
  2. A excellent for my team Smederna last night as I said to Dave Goddard (brilliant commentary by the way) that I was hoping for at least 10 points lead so to end-up with 20 is awesome. But this is the only the half way stage and I cannot wait to see Smederna reach 36 pts on Thursday. Credit though to some of the Lejonen team though Lambert rode well, and Tornblom's victory in heat 5 was excellent at he was under pressure to secure victory. Also I ' am glad that Drabik did not get injured when he hit fence and lost control gifting Smederna a 5-1 when he had the victory for that race in the bag those extra points points could here be vital at the end of Thursday night second leg. If Smederna and Indianerna both get through I think that Dackarna will chose Indianarna as Smederna are to unpredictable, as it better to race against a team that you what they will do then a team that might put in a unexpected extremely strong performance against you.
  3. This time around I did a lucky dip for my selection and it came out as Zagar 6 - 8 £200 More it cannot be no-worse than my last couple of picks
  4. That was too close for comfort last night, and it is a good job that I do not bit my fingernails otherwise I would not have any left. Teterow is a awkward round and with my current picks of late it might be better for me to draw the name of my rider out of a hat along with whether it will be a more or less bet.
  5. Glad to see my Swedish team Smederna make the play-offs but it has been a bot of a strange season for them. As winning away is always welcomed by any team by those home defeats hopefully can be rectified in the play-offs, as it will be hard work progressing in the play-offs otherwise. But as the last two season have shown they are more than capable in winning the league, so I do expect another finger nail biting play-off series from them and of course hopefully with the same end result.
  6. I know that everyone is trying to remember whether they saw the 1976 Grand Prix Final staged at White City stadium on TV or not. A few years ago I brought copies of the TV Times on eBay on DVD in a PDF format and I do have those from 1976. I can confirm that World of Sport showed this meeting at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday 7 August. in reading the Speedway Mail match report of the meeting it states that after Malcolm Simmons broke the White City track record in heat 1 the old track record was broken on a further 10 occasions. Also that David Hamilton who had planned to use a mic from the centre green found out hat t was not compatible with the White City PA system despite it working perfectly earlier in the afternoon during tests. Other programmes shown alongside the speedway on World of Sport that day included 12:35 International Show Jumping - and German F1 Grand Prix 1:20 the ITV Seven from Newmarket and Redcar 3:10 Speedway Grand Prix Final 4:00 Wrestling 4:55 Results Service
  7. Surprised to see that I'm still top for now after last night that was a small distrater for me. I cannot understand Drabik after winning his first race he went completely backwards. I hope that he did not find any sponges in his fuel tank But in all honesty the GP line up is a nightmare for punters due to there being at least 8 riders per meeting with a genuine chance of winning the meeting. In real life I would not bet on a GP as it is all too unpredictable. Well done to those who picked Kolodziej and with us only losing one punter not a too bad result for us against R&R Bokkies and his clever odds.
  8. I think that Drabik 6 - 8 £200 More with a Spread Stretcher is worth a punt
  9. Looks like R&R Bookies have their mojo back with all of those riders within his shrewd odds, so I better look-out in the SGP competition. Anyway, thanks R&R for running this competition once more - it was fun while it lasted and I will be back again next year to try and bankrupt this jovial bookie.
  10. James hopefully we both make a nice profit on Saturday, but as they will be 2 rounds after this one despite your monetary advantage at the moment there is still plenty of opportunities for me (if lucky) to surpass your total at the end of the competition
  11. Michelsen 15 points at Torun in a Polish league match the other was the reason I placed my money on him. Hopefully he comes both of the meetings you mentioned without any injuries, and who knows what might happen on Saturday night.
  12. So someone has followed by going all in on Michelsen either we both going to be very lucky an d make loads of osh or R&R Bookies will be celebrating big time as 2 of the top 3 are eliminated from the competition. But will James Carter be big and bold as me in round 3 if we make that far to again go all in on a rider, only time will on this. As R&R Bookies knows I will do this for every single round that I' am in this competition. And because of this maybe if I still around to play in round 4 secret bets might be allowed, so that we can get a winner of this competition without others knowing our bets prior to placing our bets. I do trust R&R Bookies integrity on this matter .
  13. We will see who will be dancing the most after Saturday night As long as he does not get inured this week I will not be changing my bet.
  14. Hi R&R to put you out of your misery as to wondering who my rider was - my bet is....... Michelsen 7 - 9 £600 More
  15. Surely a genuine National League as the name suggestions be open to teams across the nation regardless of the riders ability within these teams. To have a league that wholly consisted of the best available riders that participated within these teams of this league it might be called a much better name for marketing purposes to gain the attention of the national media. Whilst a National Development League is acting pursuant to his branding namely developing riders at the start of their careers, with the hope that some of them will prosper within this environment and develop into World Class riders for Great Britain teams of the future. But as our comments are off topic maybe we both should had refrained from making these posts.
  16. Thanks for letting me know Phillip I have not got my Star this week yet and I do look forward to it contents. I have to say that the new covers are absolutely stunning and aa massive pat on the back for the person/s that make them, because they must take a long time to design.
  17. Many thanks for this link I have updated my favourites and hopefully it will resolve the issue I have been having for the past few weeks. It not only the Speedway Star where these results are missing. The speedway GB website may list the result of a match, but there sadly is very few details about these meetings.
  18. Not only that Steve lately for some unknown reason you cannot access this forum online as my browser cannot locate the site it is all very strange.
  19. Hi Dave

if this is an emergency only as I sold a speedway programme on eBay to a Trevor Jones from Wilenhall only  a few weeks ago so I do have this person home address.

But as stated I can only supply you the address if it is an emergency, only.

    Robert

      Hi Robert,

It's to do with an Ebay transaction. He bought programmes from me a week ago but since then I've heard nothing. No response to communications including unpaid items warnings. I just find it strange that a guy who I've dealt with before and has an impeccable feedback record hasn't paid or been in touch.

My post on here was the a last throw of the dice before I cancel his order and send out 2nd chance offers.

Thanks for getting in touch though.

      Cheers,

      Dave

      Hi Dave

Trevor's actions are indeed unusual as I have previously stated he has brought from speedway programmes a few weeks ago on eBay and he duly paid for them without any issue.

I did not know the reason why you needed to contact Trevor Jones urgently, but as you do have his address iI will no longer need to pass this information  onto you. Although my reason for disclosing his home address would not have be lawful pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 and because of this I would had to refrain from this course of action.

I know that the GDPR 2018 can be only circumvented in cases of a genuine emergency (as I' am studying law I know this fact). My submission of his personal home address would not have permissible under the legislation due to it not be a genuine emergency.

I really do hope that Trevor is OK and that you hear from him soon along with your payment of your sold programmes from him.

      Robert

  20. R&R actually it is not Robert Lambert as you will see in time. I got you guessing now but no more clues.
  21. For me to inform of my rider and fix the odds his odds would be cheating. win or lose I lie to play fair. But his bike does have two wheels one at the front and the other at back if this clue helps you
  22. A very steady start for myself. I already know what rider I will be choosing in the next hopefully the odds will be in my favour next time around as Laguta was too high for me in the first round. But I do expect some very shrewd and extremely clever odds from R&R bookies in round 2
  23. R&R Bookies please note that I have changed the rider in my bet
  24. Hi R&R many thanks for running this little game for all of us to enjoy., and my bet is Kevin Wolbert OUT Kai Huckenbeck 5 - 7 £200 More IN A CHANGE TO MY BET R&R
