  1. What a tragic day for speedway, their family's and friends it was. No rider who loses his life or become paralysed should ever be forgotten by the fans who saw them race. Vic Harding R.I.P. What a very talent rider Steve Weatherley was, such a tragedy, and I wish him all the best.
  2. Looking at my Speedway Star 2010 yearbook. John Davis, is not listed as Argentina champion in their roll of honour.
  3. 13. Jaroslaw Hampel as my captain for the Danish GP please.
  4. Tony, I have to agree with you 100%. Barry's use and fruity language gave true authenticity to the interview as you knew that every word he said was real. No water down version that would have lost its meaning in context. You can hear far worse language then Briggo's today in most modern blockbuster films and television programmes. Briggo, will always be a true legend of speedway. I am not saying saying this because he rode for my team Wimbledon. But for what he achieved in the sport. His bike ride around the UK can't be commended enough, as far as I'am concerned.
  5. R.I.P. Tommy you will never be forgotten by me. I have a special five page tribute in Tommy's memory including a full UK race record at my Wimbledon speedway website at My website link
  6. Sorry Steve19620 I didn't realise my programme was completed from information from the Speedway Star. I didn't start going speedway until 1976, I brought it on eBay. There is another copy of this programme with complete race details on eBay at the moment eBay Link It might be worth contacting the seller to see whether it's has the programme details that you require.

  8. 1. Jason Crump, as my captain for the Czech Republic GP, for me please.
  9. Thoroughly enjoyed the DVD. Have to agree with Ivan Mauger's comments on the 1970 final being the hardest one to win. With all riders on basically riding the same equipment, rider's attitude skill was paramount.
  10. I have already entered my but I failed to put the correct numbers by the riders names. Can I please re-enter the same team with the correct numbers by their name? 1. Jason CRUMP £50,000 6. Nicki PEDERSEN £45,000 9. Fredrik LINDGREN £35,000 12. Chris HOLDER £35,000 13. Jaroslaw HAMPEL £25,000
  11. My team is 1. Jason Crump £50,000 2. Nicki Pedersen £45,000 (Captain) (for round 1) 3. Fredrik Lindgren £35,000 4. Chris Holder £35,000 5. Jaroslaw Hampel £25,000 Total £190,000
  12. All done. Are they going to print the heat details? Has I do have my Speedway Stars at hand as Im still working on my website. By the way Cradley was Cradley United in 1976
  13. Even though I'm a Dons supporter this is a great idea. Can't wait till 1st November comes round I've joined waiting for the friend request to be accepted. I do have a Wimbledon speedway website that's dedicated to Wimbledon's 1976 season www.wimbledonspeedway1976.co.uk
  14. Many thanks ianmartin, still got work to do, especially with all the British 1976 results to complete (this will a take a while though).
  15. That would be brilliant KenB1, many thanks.
  16. Just found the website Cityrebel and all I can is WOW what a fabulous help this will be for me, i can't thank you enough for informing me about it.
  17. Could you please post a link to that website on here for me, and many thanks for the help.
  18. Many thanks for you kind comments about the site Mimmo. The site will only cover the 1976 season I'm afraid, as it's dedicated to my first season as a speedway supporter. But I will be putting other Wimbledon stuff like badges and programmes from '76 onwards on there. I have recently acquired 33 Speedway Mail's from 1976 which hopefully I'm aloud to use some pieces from, just waiting for permission from Tony Mac to use them.
  19. Many thanks for your kind words about the site Lucifer Sam, it's not finished yet. I'm just trying to get all the correct league teams years badges from 1976 on there. I got Coventry, Wolves and another Birmingham badge to be added soon. It will also have all the result details from the year 1976 also in time (loads of typing up for that one to complete).
  20. Could anyone if they have one, either post or PM me a picture of a 1976 Eastborune and Stoke speedway badges. As I want to make sure I have the correct year badge on my website at Visit My Website
  21. Many many thanks for the link Fingersfin you're a star. Can't wait for the Swedish and Polish seasons to start now.
  22. Many thanks for your reply Suzuki Star 882, I will look-out on the web when the Swedish and Polish league seasons start.
  23. Does anyone know if it's possible to turn in a Sky HD box to be able to to watch Swedish or Polish league speedway matches. If so what re the frequencies needed?
