Hi Parsoles I have most of the 1976 badges. Got 8 more to put on my website soon. All those badges on Greyhound Derby website must be worth a fortune I reckon.
-
Parsoles 1928 The Greyhound derby webpage has tons of speedway badge images on it, including many pre-war one's. Many thanks for putting a link to it Sotonian.
-
Does anyone on here have a picture of what the 1976 Boston speedway badge looks like. So that I know what to look for when buying one. I'm trying to put all the 1976 speedway badges on my website, but I can't find an image of one anywhere. There's nothing on the Greyhound Derby webpage. My website

Tony, Freddie Williams would indeed be a worthy number one. It should make for a very interesting read. Easily I would say the greatest Welsh rider ever. Shame I wasn't born to be able too see these great riders race, but I always find reading about the history of our great the sport very interesting. Will you be doing a pre-war version as well?

Happy Happy Happy Well done to all of the Great Britain riders, now go and win it -
I go for Peter Craven, as being top of the list. Can't wait for the issue, I just renewed my subscription, of this excellent magazine.

From my SWC Predictions thread that I put on here earlier in the week. Event 1 Poland to win this one very easily by about 14 points at least, I guess. Second to Poland will be a very nervy Danish team who will finish about 4 points in front of the Russians. The Czech Republic will be about 10 point behind the Russians. Event 2 I can't any reason why Great Britain can't win this one. It will be close I can see us winning by 6 points. Australia will be second about 4 points in front of Sweden, with Finland about 14 points behind the Swedes. Race-Off This will be massive battle between all the teams. I think with Leigh Adams returning to the Aussie team they will just have enough to pinch-it by 4 points. Now for a surprise the Swedish team to finish second 4 points in front of the Danes, who will badly miss Nicki Pedersen due to injury. The Russians will be 8 points behind Denmark. Final Poland are obvious favourites, but I feel they will come in second place, about 4 points behind the winners. Sweden will come fourth. So this now leaves just Great Britain and Australia. If the British riders ride to their full potential I can see them winning it (you may think I'm mad) they will need the sort of meeting that they had in the race-off in Vojens a few years ago. Australia to finish third 4 points behind Poland. I do feel that this is the best chance Great Britain have had for a few years to,if they all stick together and ride at their very best. It's just a shame that Jason, Nicki and Emil will be missing from the competition due to injury, they will be missed by all of their team greatly. Get well soon one-and-all. Now you can all have a good laugh - put your predictions on here if you dare. It's good fun really.
