  1. None right so far. If you were there, or have a completed programme for the meeting including the second half this will help you. This is a massive clue.
  2. This is a bit harder then the other 'a quick question' posed on this section. Something happened at White City reopening challenge match, at home against Wimbledon, in 1976. I have been too many speedway meetings in my time, but this 'thing' has never happened, at any other meeting I have been to. So what happened in this meeting?
  3. Great coverage from Sky in 3D, I really enjoyed it. The nearest thing to be being there, if you can't make it. I wonder if one-day all speedway will be in 3D?
  4. 5 Rune Holta 6 Andreas Jonsson 6 Fredrik Lindgren 5 Scott Nicholls (WC) 30 OLD BEES ... Hancock, AJ, Harris, Nicholls
  5. I'm looking for the same thing bradonbee, we might be unlucky tonight :-(
  6. Tony, I couldn't inform whether any other Dons riders offered their bikes for Tommy to use or not. It was something I overheard, at the time, most likely when I went to get riders autographs, in the pits during the meeting interval, and I always remembered this. I also remember reading that this happened somewhere, over the course of time.
  7. My most memorable memory is like Cityrebels. Seeing Tommmy Jansson riding round Plough Lane, after beating Dave Jessup 2-1 waving to the crowd whilst wearing the Golden Helmet. Tragic that he never got to defend his title. I don't know if you know, but Tommy used Wimbledon junior Ian Williams bike, in the second and third legs, of this match race, after his own bike broke down during the first race. One thing I have read over the years. Was the only two riders to win the Golden Helmet with the name Tommy (Jannson & Fardon) both lost their lives while being the current holders.
  8. Vic, will never be forgotten by those supporters who saw him ride. Such a very sad and terrible lost, to his family, friends and speedway. RIP Vic
  9. Tomcat, I also wrote down the riders list from the SGP website, so maybe you might have wrote them down incorrectly, easy done though.
  10. Tomcat, are you sure you wrote the riders names in the correct places, as I had no problems with my Czech Republic Grand Prix programme, in the Speedway Star. I doubt that Speedway Star made a special mis-printed programme just for you.
  11. Great win by the Blacksmiths tonight. Being a Ikaros Smederna fan, next week league match against Rospiggarna, looks very interesting. I hope we can win this this one, but it's gonna be very tough, especailly away from home. I may say that it's brilliant for the Allsvenskan league to show its league matches live and for free every week. I don't think that the Premier League would ever do this.
  12. I can't make Cardiff this year, so brought myself a 3d TV this week, it should be the next best thing. I'm gonna recorded it in on both the HD and 3D channels to compare them.
  13. Many thanks for the info, but I only just received the email from Premier Sports thia morning, that the TV match has been changed. Should stil be a great match-up. Jason Crump was flying in Poland, on Sunday
  14. Tomorrow night's TV match, looks rather tasty. Valsarna - Indianerna Valsarna 1 Scott Nicholls (GB) 2 David Watt (AU) 3 Grigory Laguta (RU) 4 Artem Laguta (LV) 5 Daniel Nermark (SE) 6 Ludvig Lindgren (SE) 7 Tomas Gapinski (PL) Indianerna 1 Bjarne Pedersen (DK) 2 Henrik Gustafsson (SE) 3 Piotr Protasiewicz (PL) 4 Joonas Kylmäkorpi (FI) 5 Antonio Lindbäck (SE) 6 Niels-kristian Iversen (DK) 7 Simon Gustafsson (SE) Indianerna, look very strong at reserve, especailly with Niels-kristian Iversen being in there, I can't wait.
  15. I saw Tommy race at Wimbledon the week before that tragic and fatal accident. He was in brilliant form that night. He even beat Dave Jessup in the Golden Helmet match race 2-1, using Wimbledon junior Ian Williams bike, after his own bike broke down, in the first leg. He then went and won the Malboro Southern Riders Qualfuing Round, with a maximum 15 point score. This is how I remember him at his brilliant best. Wimbledon speedway was never the same, after that night.
  16. My Czezh Republic riders #1 Tomasz Gollob 9 #2 Jaroslaw Hampel 8 #5 Greg Hancock 8 #15 Janusz Kolodziej 7
  17. My four riders are #2 Jaroslaw Hampel 9 #5 Greg Hancock 9 #7 Kenneth Bjerre 8 #11 Fredrik Lindgren 8
  18. Many thanks Ghostwalker for posting the link to your excellent Swedish league heat formula. It will really come in handy for me on Tuesday and Thursday night's. I have downloaded, and printed off a few copies already.
  19. OK, I was watching the meeting also, but my swedish is rubbish. I wasn't following any scores on the any website, as I had my laptop connect to my large TV via HDMI. With no on screen graphics or scoresheet I didn't know for certain, which riders were really in each race.
  20. Ricky Kling and Magnus Zetterstrom are Smederna's other guest riders

  22. Many thanks Gatwick Rocket, I'm sure that this info will help a few people, who keep records.
  23. Looking forward to this Dackarna Vs Vargarna on Premier Sports in the UK with delayed coverage, at 10pm.
