  1. Your right my mistake I'm watching the speedway on Sky didn't read it properly. Give Danny King the wild card he's riding well tonight.

Just posted on the SGP website Danish star Hans Andersen, SGP regular Matej Zagar, World Under-21 champion Michael Jepsen Jensen, Martin Smolinski, Vaclav Milik, Maciej Janowski, Troy Batchelor and Jurica Pavlic are confirmed qualifiers from the Lonigo semi. So maybe no British Wild Card???????

  7. 11 Darcy Ward 9 Greg Hancock 8 Niels K Iversen 7 Matej Zagar
  8. I can't believe that decision how did Bjerre not get excluded?
  9. 1 Four riders per team with a reserve that can replace any rider at any time. (Just like in the old days). 2 20 heats with the last four being nominated just as now. 3 No joker or tac subs allowed. This will prevent any team from getting their riders to slow down or retire, so that they can play a tac sub or joker, as what happens nowadays. 4 Host nation (if need) to be seeded to the race-off but never to the final. Let them earn their place like all other teams. 5 Winners of first and second events going though to the final. Second place and highest scoring third place team to the race-off. Top two teams in the race-off going through to the final.
  10. Let's just hope that the meeting doesn't turn into a farce like last years, with riders slowing down to stop other teams playing jokers. The 2012 SWC Final I still feel was a disgrace to the sport. And tonight's race-off proved that this might happen, as it was self evident that this was the case with certain teams in the meeting. All I want too see is a great meeting with fair rules for all teams - I don't care who wins - I just want too see a honest meeting. Otherwise for me the 2014 competition (if there is one) will be SWC R.I.P.
  11. SWC should be four man team with a reserve who can come in at any time to replace a rider and NO JOKER which makes it a farce
  12. Darcy Ward (Captain) 7 Troy Btachelor 4.5 Niels-Kristian Iversen 5.5 Kenneth Bjerre 4.5 Jaroslaw Hampel 6 Craig Cook 2 Total 29.5
  13. There's a brilliant new design to the Speedway Star website. A modern cleaner look to it, with loads more info and stuff. It now has a downloadable SGP programme covers, many thanks to everyone, at the magazine for this.
  14. Middlo has announced it will be Tai Woffinden, Chris Harris, Craig Cook and Edward Kennett
  15. Now this would seem like Christmas has come early
  16. Danish GP result 1st Darcy Ward 14/1 2nd Matej Zagar 33/1 3rd Chris Holder 7/1 4th Tomasz Gollob 18/1 No-one picked all four finalists Special Ugly Duckling Bet Result (In 9th Place) Nicki Pedersen No-one picked this rider League Table After The Danish GP 1 Wheelsinline £737,770.91 2 Maverick88 £561,671.55 3 Robbie B £411,431.36 4 refereerick £278,440.29 5 racers and royals £211,034.04 6 Waihekaces1 £105,076.29 7 beercellar £96,411.45 8 JamieE £84,372.59 9 iceman £46,616.29 10 Orbrien48 £36,533.79 11 full-thorttle £13,922.07 12 dump that clutch £481.25 Wheelsinline won a massive £610,369.10 to go top of the table for now. I have removed some players who have never placed a bet in the competition. The competition is still wide open with some players having big balances one good pick would see them earn loads of money
  17. Riders now on track for heat 1 - no bets will be accepted.
  18. The above bets have been placed. Now that everyone has some serious money to place on their picks - loads could be made by picking the winner of a GP. The competition I think is much more fun now. The lead could change after each GP. Only obrien48 left to choose. Best of luck to everyone
