The worst thing is that those of us that have questioned GI's motives and expressed concern across the past ten years or so over whether the stadium would ever be built were just badmouthed and cussed out by other fans and parts of the management for being 'negative'

This is absurd. A lot of speedway fans are also football fans and this is now going to be right in the football season.
They'll lose thousands off of the attendance scheduling this in September.
The last ever Thursday night meeting at The Abbey tonight and possibly ever if the mythical new stadium doesn't arrive.
Should be a straightforward home win given Coventry's absentees.
Just over 24 hours before this meeting and no thread so here goes.
It does appear that 4th spot could well be between these two sides so Swindon do neex to get the better of KL over the home and away meetings tomorrow and next week.

I assume they don't want to risk the expenditure of setting up the cameras etc given the dodgy weather forecast.
Had a rain shower an hour ago but according to the BBC forecast no further rain expected this evening and the sun is supposed to come out soon.
And the rain currently west of Swindon is moving north so it should be a dry night at Blunsdon.
