We can only hope to follow your intellectual lead. I'll let you get back to the Bertrand Russell -

Love it. A quick gloss over the lying and cheating bit and then have a big moan about Graham Reeve. -
British GP 2013
Kester replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Cardiff has been worse before, and so has Gothenburg. I'm not defending it, it clearly wasn't good, but those on here claiming it was the worst ever are forgetting a few others. The track at Cardiff has broken up late on in the meeting pretty much every year, it's only in the last couple of years they've got it right. It was much worse in 2009 or 10 (can't remember which), when it broke up pretty much from the start, and there were falls aplenty. -
Could A Barry Hearn Type Be Good For Speedway?

And pigs will fly before any of that happens. Too much self-interest and blind ignorance. -

Not quite true. If Birmingham pulled a similar stunt I'd have slagged them off. Aces51, one of the most vociferous BV supporters on here, condemned the actions of the promotion - and fair play to him for doing so. It's only a few on here posting nonsense in a vain attempt to defend the indefensible. -
And this sums it up really doesn't it. Personally speaking, if a t/r is used against Birmingham I think it's a shambolic rule, giving the dirty, cheating opposition an opportunity to benefit despite being rubbish. If Birmingham benefit from one it's an excellent rule, ensuring that meetings are closer and more exciting.

I've wondered the same - are they trolling or idiotic? -

And I (and others) can't understand why he and you keep going on about photos by Poole riders when, even without being at the hearing, I really don't think Belle Vue were fined and deducted points on the basis of a photo - it has no bearing whatsoever on the outcome. -

The guy is a journalist too, I think he learnt all he knows off this guy. http://www.welovethe...onminister.com/ Our track is perfect........David Gordon is the messiah..........We'll host a GP in 2015.............Curse the Poole infidels It's hard to see how the SCB would have come to their decision if there had been a burst pipe. A fine and points deducted for a late call off? -

Kester replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So you are suggesting that the SCB did not look at any evidence as to whether there actually was a burst pipe or not, they simply saw it was Poole and made a decision. Let's forget all of your above post as it's utterly irrelevant, I'll make it simple. Was there a burst pipe? No - Belle Vue cheated Yes - They didn't cheat. -

I remember this, it's still beautiful. The first paragraph is particularly majestic. -

But clearly all the evidence presented to the SCB has demonstrated that Belle Vue pulled a fast one and have been caught. How the suspicion came about is irrelevant, why you keep going on about tweets is beyond me. The only disrepute being heaped on the sport has resulted from Belle Vue's misguided actions. -

What your answer has to do with Oldace's post is beyond me. I take it you ran out of poor arguments. Actually, now I see, I was being thick. However, what I don't see is why you're prattling on. Your club have been found out for cheating. The evidence must have been damning as usually the SCB are useless. Aces51 showed how you maybe should have posted a few pages back. -

NO WAY! I am utterly shocked to the core if this is the outcome. Note to promoters - You've now got the green light - Have some of your riders missed a flight? weakened team at home? destined for a home loss? No worries - get the bowser out and call it off - you can be confident the BSPA will do jack all about it. -

I agree, I'm quite enjoying their chatting, far more informative and entertaining than Keith Huewen drawing blindingly obvious comments out of the likes of Ermelenko and Nicholls. -

Probably, but the problem is you can't apply a sanction/reward based on liklihoods. Who's to say Poole wouldn't have lost Ward and Holder with injuries in their first rides and BV would win? Any set of punishments need to apply regardless of the relative strength of the teams. If BV are docked points then they should be docked them for dodgy behaviour and this should have no impact on any future staging of the meeting. Of course, we know nothing will actually happen so all this hypothetical chat will come to nowt. -

Nothing of course, doesn't mean it didn't happen though, which I think is UKM's point. It would hardly be a surprise to any of us if there's no sanction to Belle Vue either. It's perfectly believable that there'll be some sort of SCB statement muttering about 'lack of evidence' and that'll be the end of that. -

Nice try, but BV have deserved their reputation as shambolic, time and time again with late and dodgy call-offs, they didn't even bother to finish the fixtures last year for gods sake. -

Message To The Leicester Promotor
Kester replied to robert72's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So people should keep on paying up each week to watch speedway that isn't entertaining? If a new chip shop opened in my town (where none previously existed) should I keep buying them even if they taste horrible? The reality is that if Leicester closed next week would it be missed as a speedway venue? Yes, it's very good indeed and has the potential to be great. Would it be missed as a place to watch entertaining speedway? No, not at all. -
Coventry are serial offenders, and starting at 8 you'd think they'd want to get on with it.

Wolverhampton is nothing at all like BP, Monmore is way shorter and has a flow to it. As has been stated lots of times the track shape at BP is fundamentally wrong, it reminds me a little of Oxford but with longer straights.

How Many Heats In A League Meeting ?
Kester replied to rusky's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Oh no, not again. The riders may have been better (subjective), but please don't use averages to back this up as it's been shown to be a nonsense before. Sidney should remember as we had about 30 pages of people demonstrating why he was wrong before. -
