There would be nothing stopping them, if they were good enough. -

The reason for racing licences is so that they can be removed if the rider is dangerous or drugged etc.: see Nick Morris. -
No: GMs depend on splash lubrication (the big end running in the sump). Top professionals change the oil every couple of races, and you dump the oil anyway after each meeting.
-
That was a long time ago, when engines had total loss oil systems. Modern GMs retain the oil in the sump.

Well, they're expensive ... I bought a length of carpet from a supermarket for £5!

It's just the same as any other major city in this country, no more or less. -
Birmingham speedway started (again) in 2007, when they finished IIRC 3rd in the league. Except for the injury-wrecked 2009, they were usually in the top few teams. They went into the Elite league in 2012, and as I said, was top of the league in 2013 but lost the play-off final when Poole signed the World Champion for the event! They won the National League in 2015 and 2016, but left it too late to sign good riders on re-joining the Championship in 2019, and have never got going since, due to various changes and Covid.
-
Since 2019, when we re-entered the Championship. Before that, the Brummies were usually near the top of whichever league they entered: even topping the Elite League one year.
-
In fact, the only things the covers hide are the fuel tank and the carburettor.
-
If they were to replace Dan, it would be to fit in a rider (who?) with a higher average. But then they would have to replace Joe with a lower average: but they already have one 2-point rider (Sam Hagon), which wouldn't work. Dan at least deserves a good run in the team.

Have you a web address? The Edinburgh site just gives 'EMTV', whatever that is, not a streaming service. -

Note heat 6: The first time anyone has gone below 59 seconds in a long time! It was Justin Sedgemen. -

Six: Sam Hagon didn't score, though he was always on the pace. Needs to learn to make the starts at Championship standard, -
According to the Speedway Star, Boughen's father was taken ill, and Ashton went home with him, neither realising that this was against the rules.
-
Well, he wasn't called 'Little P' for nothing! I stood near him at the P&P day last year, and he only came up to my shoulder. The trouble with him this year was that, like others in the team, he seems to have lost his gating skills.

Like, banning any rider with an average of, say, over 8 in the Premiership from riding in the Championship? That would mean that riders with an awkward average would get a team place instead of being unemployable, as now.
