Nonsense: Lampart has been excellent this year, I hope that he is back next year, when he should kick on. Certainly, he goes against all Brummies tradition, in that he can gate! The crowd was packed out, and saw some great racing. -

This is a mantra which people seem to trot out all the time, relating to the situation in 2021 when the track had not been touched for two years and the shale had weathered. There wasn't any dust on Monday until the last two heats. The track was watered. -

Well, someone was boasting that Sheff would score 60 - which with their team, they should have done - but were in fact lucky to scrape a win. And some of the tellywatchers seem to have seen a different match to those who were there. -

It is fairly obvious that there is a lack of leadership somewhere. At the last match, the Brummies riders seemed de-motivated, unlike the Oxford team who were much more determined.
