When he rode for Birmingham in his last season he was great. What a waste of some considerable talent, what an awful crime! Mind you, when you look at his photograph, with his low forehead, he doesn't seem quite right.
-
Don't say that; the usual suspects will never beieve it!

From where I stand, actually by a very large amount. Where do people get the figure of 500 from? It sounds like one of these mantras which people trot out, without actually knowing anything.
-
Given his crime, it is unlikely that anyone will want him.
-
They're all past it. It's a No.1 which is needed; but Tolley reckons he is going to announce it soon.

What, on every thread? What is going on?

Like the way they beat Belle Vue?

Dean, have you still got that GM engine I sold you a few years ago? You said that you were going to convert it to upright.

Have you been there?😲

It's just a hobby horse which the usual suspects like to ride, as with the team manager.

We did have Zmarzlik once, but the promoter didn't pay him ...

Can we hope that you will not be attending this forum also?

No-one has mentioned Chris Morton, who deliberately crashed into Alan Grahame, breaking his thighbone and finishing his top-line career.

In reality, the crowds were very much better this year than for a long time.

Just how useful is 'set up' anyway, at least to lower-level riders? Andrew Silver told us that in his day, he used to change only the sprocket in a match!

Eurosport, terrible professionalism.

As for Eurosport, I have discovered that the programmes turn up on the stream the next day, so you can watch them for free! -
And Pawlicki's brother ...

Attributed to Sam Goldwin, of MGM films.

Someone on this forum was retailing a rumour that he had made a verbal agreement to return to the Brummies next year (verbal agreements are notoriously not worth the paper they are written on, but it was probably verbal because it was not totally confirmed that Perry Barr will be available); but I really hope that this is true. He was riding for Ipswich because they had a couple of extra matches in the play-offs.

Wot a load of horlicks ... You've forgotten Brennan and Lampart, who will almost certainly be back.
-
Yes, very true. When I saw him first in the Junior championships last year, I commented, 'Yes, he's got it!' Meaning talent ... it was obvious from the start.

And again ...

Zach Cook scored 9+1: more than any KL rider so you shouldn't complain.
