Road racers use leather as it doesn't transfer as much heat when sliding along the ground at 100+ mph. Kevlar does not melt but sliding along the tar a high speed would leave you with 3rd degree burns. Kevlar is fine for speedway the speeds are low enough that heat transfer isn't a problem. Nylon is a major problem it does melt and can melt into the skin. The new rules have been brought in to stop this. Forcing everyone back to leathers is not the answer but banning nylon is the right thing to do

The carb is flooding. Check the float level. It should be the same height as the top of the float bowl or just above

888 is the first of the short strokes. 88mm bore with 81.2mm stroke. Setup properly they are quite a good engine

It changes the amount of flex in the diamond. The no.1 flexes more than no.4 which changes the way they handle

The riders have no option but to rely on the clubs to finalize the visa application. They cant apply until they have a GBE and sponsorship form completed by their club and that isnt done till the end of january
