  1. So I see from the British Speedway website that Olly Allen will not get an opportunity to qualify for the Speedway GPs for 2009. I cannot see how Daniel King gets ahead of Olly Allen, for the life of me, I do not understand why? Can anyone explain?
  2. I agree, Gdansk is great. Nice fast track too. I went in 2005 before direct flights were about, but returned in 2006.
  3. Am I the only one who has had enough of Sub? His comment about taking the last 2 GPs, holds little water, I am taking Scott's performances since the end of June. 4 GPs. A longer period of time. His EL average since July is also 11-ish. Face it, he is clearly in good form. Certainly in the top 16 of the world and worthy of his place in the GPs so really, get over yourself!
  4. Yes, best of luck to Scott. The rubbish that he is getting on forums is extreme to say the least. Given riders risk their lives for our entertainment, you'd have thought he may get a little bit of respect. Anyhow, on reviewing the last 4 GPs, from AND including the British GP, Scott is 4th in the overall standings! Behind Nicki, Leigh and Jason. Not bad.
  5. Hi Guys, This topic has got well out of hand. Its a bit crazy and personal. For my money's worth. You cannot have 16 riders in the GP all with a chance of winning the title. There is only 4 or 5 MAX. Scott for me sits in the 2nd Division of GPs, great ratio of getting to semis, not always converting...you just need to get in there, and your points are massively improved. I follow these world rankings... http://www.przegladzuzlowy.pl/news_index.php?id=1089892799 The ranking is embracing all individual competitions, championships of World and Europe and scores of three strongest leagues (GB-Elite League, SWE-Elitserien, PL-Extraliga) on the end of European season. Classification is a reflection of VALUE of the rider! No ranking is saying which competitor is 100% better – my also not! The classification is depended on amounts of meetings in which rider participated in the LAST 24 MONTHS. I am a Coventry and GB fan. I think Scott is worthy of a place in the top 16, further he has proved that with strong showings in GB, SWE and POL of late. 56+1 from last 20 rides for Coventry Also, I am pleased to see him being more agressive. Why do fans seem to dislike that in Scott, but LOVE, absolutely LOVE, when Hans or Nicki (even Jason) are all elbows?? British people are far too reserved! Peace out.
