Robert Mear must be one of the most improved riders in the country this season. Will be interesting to see how he shapes against some higher quality riders and away from the comfort of Rye House. Good to see Shawn McConnell making the trip over, he always seems to provide plenty of entertainment at Brighton. Cheers Haywood

They may have already annouced dates but how many of them are going to change? The MotoGP calendar has already been revised once and I wouldn't be surprised if it changes again. This constant changing of dates doesn't seem to happen with Speedway GPs. So you may have to wait for dates but at least you can be reasonable sure they will be the actual dates the events take place on. Cheers Haywood

Can't imagine you will have any problems getting back to London on the train. I have always been able to get back to Guildford on the train ever since they started the evening session at 6. Come to think of it, I am sure the train I jump on to get to Gatwick ends up in London. Think it usually finishes some time between 8.30 and 9, although I can't really remember. Cheers Haywood

Well done to the new Reading promotion on putting this meeting together at such short notice. I have been missing regular Speedway over the last few weeks so am looking forward to this. Looking at the fixture list I think they will struggle to have a regular Monday slot at home for the rest of the season with 3 away matches currently scheduled on a Monday plus home matches to be arranged against both Belle Vue and Wolverhampton.
